    Reminds me of those late 90's and early 2000's teams that tortured us. I think this team will be better next season.

    The Steelers made their bed now they can rest. Can't be blaming other teams for the seasons outcome..it took too long for the team to jell and stack enough wins. The Steelers will be much more competitive next year really looking forward to it. It was a great 2nd half effort for Pittsburgh :applaud:

    Today was exciting with the way things unfolded. And honestly, I was hoping that all the pieces would fit together, which they obviously didn't. For me, this team missed the playoffs after losing to Oak and Miami, so I had already reconciled and moved on. As much as I was hoping to be wrong today, the Steelers postseason status was already determined in my mind.

    i posted in another thread that somehow it would come down to 1 play. i had a feeling it would come down to special teams play also. i just didnt think it would come down to a guy missing a pretty easy field goal.

    i would love to blame their kicker for the Steelers not making the playoffs, but im pretty sure to a man every player on the Steelers are blaming themselves for putting themselves in that position.

    So had I, until the Dolphins and Rats lost today and the Chiefs were leading the Chargers by 10 in the second half!
    ARGH!!! :frustrated:
