Eating crow if the Steelers make it to the playoffs and defending Reid for resting his starters are 2 completely different things. Stop while you are behind.

 

Andy Reid's job is to coach the Chiefs, not help other teams out. what don't you understand about this?

if you think the Chiefs benching their starters in a meaningless game is something they shouldn't do because their starters could get rusty, then you'd have a point. but since you think they're doing it to intentionally screw the Steelers, your opinion here isn't worth taking seriously.

the Chiefs did their part. they'll be in no matter what and look forward to the Colts in the first round of the playoffs. the Steelers have NOBODY to blame but themselves for needing THREE OTHER TEAMS to lose for them to get a playoff spot. just winning one more game would have given the Steelers a much better chance at a playoff spot. that's their own fault; the Chiefs have nothing to do with it.
