We need people to step up big these next 6 weeks, the Rooneys
have dished out alot of MONEY to these guys to be difference makers.

Oh let me see, Troy, Ike, Lamaar, Silverback(atleast you play with some heart)Timmons
Ben, Mendy. Timmons and Woodley have been the two biggest disappointments. how about earning
all the big money you got. How about changing games with your play. I think coach T
better stress this the next few weeks or we will get TEBOWED. One and done.

Couldn't agree more. Other than making the occasional good tackle Troy's been the invisible man for much of the year. Before the game Woodley tells the media he's feeling better than he has in a long time and he lasts what, 1 quarter before benching himself for the hamstring and who is this Timmons guy you speak of ??

I thought the front 7 brought consistent pressure and had some 3-and-outs. DBs were laying too far off receivers which left the short-pass game open for SF. QB had 4, drive-killing turnovers... Let's start there, shall we?

Agreed. However, the defense should take some of the blame. After the 51-yard field goal AND a kickoff that pinned the 49ers deep, the defense had the opportunity to completely shift the momentum by stopping the 49ers. What did they do? They give up a back-breaking touchdown drive. There was no excuse for that - especially at that point in the game.

Are you referring to the Davis TD? If so, I was disappointed in that drive because they completed to him and he was WIDE OPEN for a couple plays (one called back to the 2-yd line). Why didn't they watch for that? The defense giving up 20 points was definitely a problem.

Still, if the Steelers could have scored a TD before SF I think it would have changed the complexity of the game for SF. They were in control the whole game.

I guess I just get frustrated when offense goes so cold... Ward, Brown, Miller... they're ready to go... Mendy has even been running harder trying to plow holes where the O-Line isn't creating anything for him. I was very vexed at the O-Line, last night...

I wasn't talking about just last night's game. Wardismvp made a very good point about our so called impact players not making enough of an impact. The lack of forced turnovers in general this year by the D is a good example of that. As for last night I'd agree the D overall wasn't that bad and while they didn't give up a ton of points they still let the 49ers offense run rough shod all over them between the 20's putting us in terrible field position all night long.

Woodley left last night because that hammy probably got tight during the delays. That's the sort of injury where you can't just sit on it for twenty or thirty minutes straight and expect to jump back out there and be 100 percent. I agree with Troy and Timmons. Timmons has been invisible and it seems like Troy is always inches away from making a big play numerous times this year, but just doesn't get there.

Folks, these guys have to do it these next six weeks or we are out of here,
looking to April draft. Coach T should be riding these guys hard the next six weeks.
Somebody has to take this team on its shoulders and carry it, we have glaring weaknesses(OL)
and more,(who is going to cover opposing teams TE's)
that just will not fly against the really good teams. Start this week ramping up, no excuses,
these guys I mentioned need to get their ass in gear and play good football PERIOD.

Most of them are sitting on the sidelines or in their living room....injured or being a bonehead.

After watching Denver play New England, Tebow isn't good enough to beat the Steelers. IMO
