It's on the front page, and I still don't know how to link to link it, but I found it interesting. I'm not a "TMZ" kinda guy, so I won't make it what its not, but towards the end of it, I get the feeling the FO is gonna ask for a HUGE restructure from him, or cut him all together as it would save a TON on cap space. He said he wants to retire a Steeler, and wants to play at least next year, but the word " business" was mentioned more than once. He's 32 and past his prime, but one more year is not a far reach but the cost of one more year might be for the Steelers? If in fact Sunday is his last game with us, I have not but admiration for the guy. WORLD CLASS ATHLETE, and a GREAT PERSON, no matter what happens. The NFL is a nasty business ( remember how the Rod Woodson ordeal went down) and money is all at matters in the end. IF TP takes a pay cut he will return, and I can't see another team giving him 8 million to go elsewhere, but as he said " he has a family" so in the end can you blame him to cash in as many chips as he can? The youth movement in the secondary starts in the 2014 draft, so time will tell, but 43 will always be a Steeler.

One of those things will have to happen. The Steelers can't afford to pay him what he is scheduled to be paid, keep other key players and sign new ones they need.

Was really scratching my head there for a few seconds trying to figure out why Torrey Smith is relevant to the Steelers...

I think Troy has EARNED another year with the Steelers, unlike some of his defensive mates. I hope the two sides can find a way to make it happen.

IMO he doesn't go anywhere. The Steelers have a (recent) history of rewarding older guys they like toward the end of their careers and I think TP falls into that category. IMO he's cut then resigned for 2 years at a respectable but reduced salary. If they can work something like that out I think its a good thing. TP still has value and a lot to offer to a rebuilding unit. I say give him a 2 year victory lap at a couple of mil/year...if he's willing of course.

    Here I'll try.

I used to hate WEEZER until the song B-E-V-E-R-L-Y-H-I-L-L-S and found out that it actually rocks! Just heard it yesterday as a coincidence here and jammed it out with my 6 yr. old in the car. He liked it too.

I must say though that Hollywood is a complete dump. At least where the Whiskey-a-Go-Go is. Cool Bar, Complete Dump area!

Haven't been to LA since '92, so I don't remember much. I do remember passing the Whiskey though. I need to get back out there, but with 3 kids it now requires buying 5 plane tickets, so we've been relegated to driving everywhere.
