me too i 'm an ultras of fc inter of milan by 30 years , so i use WE when i talk about MY team , and the steelers are the same , WE ARE A PART OF THE TEAM because when we go around on the streets we defend them everywhere

 

We just won a huge game and kept our playoff hopes alive, you would think people would be happy? I'm not going to get into name calling as I think he's just pushing buttons in an attempt to have some some fun, although its not funny.

Why would somebody have to defend or attack Goodell? What does Goodell have to do with a blown call?

 

Come on Shanner, you know Rodger is watching every game and calling in to the refs to make bad calls to rig games.

 

Somebody should tell Goodell what kind of repercussions there would be if it was found out that he was fixing games. They should also tell him that people generally can't keep their mouths shut and will quickly turn on Goodell for money or two minutes of fame. I'm sure Goodell hasn't figured that all out on his own yet. Apparently he would risk everything he has in order to fix games. He must really hate us.

 

And BTW, I say "we" as well. It was just a joke. I think my neighbor in KY is still sore about the sister joke.

 

I don't like Goodell, and I don't like teams that lay down. That's the purpose of the thread. If you want to defend Goodell, then go, I'll be awaiting your point by point defense of Roger Goodell.

 

Defend him about what? I really don't know what your even talking about. I have nothing to defend Goodell about. Goodell basically doesn't exist to me. Goodell didn't affect our game today and he won't affect our game next week.

well here we are. going into week 17 and they still have a chance.

 

The Steelers won today. I think Roger Godell rigged it for the Steelers. I mean look at the first down they got on Steeler penalties. The shaky fumble after Matt Flynn was down. The Rooneys helped Rog get his job and keep it, so now there's the payoff.

Sound crazy? No more so than the other stuff I read.

Speaking of a huge win...not only was it a huge win...Baltimore&Miami loses,NY Jets win...was just what Steeler Nation needed.Next week...Steelers win(a must),Baltimore,Miami&San Diego all lose...hey...we're there.

 

Flynn was not down when he lost control of the ball. It was out of his grasp (according to replay) before his butt-which touched the ground before either of his knees-before he could be ruled down.
On the FG block: the missed establishment of posession by Ryan Clark will get at the least, an "oopsie"; at worst, another crew gets downgraded as a result of a Steeler game.

I was amazed at the amount of flags against the home team. Not used to that!
