Another no TD win aided by PI calls/non-calls going in their favor. Any surprise they're gifted back to back wins leading up to their matchup vs. the Pats? Don't fool yourselves, it's all scripted by Roger.

I wouldn't go so far as scripted, that would indicate a predetermined outcome but favoritism is another story. Not sure I believe it but getting harder and harder to deny. Ravens getting horrible calls in their favor and a horrible non call in their favor. How on earth did they miss the PI against the rats in the endzone??? He held his arm down! How do you miss that!!!!!

I have watched a lot of games and the refs are missing tons of calls. I don't think there is a bias, just inadequate officiating. The Lions still had that game if their playcalling didn't keep them in 3rd and long the 2nd half and if Stafford would have stopped slinging balls sidearm off his back foot.

I agree with this, but it's been frustrating to see the 'karma' (i.e. calls) on the side of the Ravens week after week (a 61-yard field goal? You kiddin me?). In fact, it seems like most of the time we've wanted a game to go one way or the other and it's close at the end, it's hard not to be pessimistic about the eventual outcome. I think this game really turned early when the Lions were up 7-0 and Stafford put a perfect pass in the hands of Megatron going across the middle who inexplicably dropped it. On their way to 14-0, it suddenly deteriorated from there.

You know, and for all the grief Tomlin gets for clock management (which is well deserved by the way), why wasn't Schwartz taking his timeout when the Ravens ran the ball to get to 4th and 7? If he misses the FG, you win because they have only one timeout and 1:20 left. If he makes it, you now have 2 timeouts and 1:20 left needing a field goal to win. Instead, you get the ball back with :38 in pure panic mode and try to go deep instead of being able to do the 10 yard crossers to get you into FG range. But, he got to take those 3 timeouts home with him, and may lose a playoff opportunity because of it (well, that and his team isn't very good).

Hard to bet against the Ravens with the Christmas gifts they've been getting....

We'll see if their luck holds. They have won 4 in a row - Jets, Steelers, Vikings and Lions, all non-playoff teams. The next two games against the Pats and at Cinci will tell a lot.

I hate the Ravens as much as blountforcetrauma, but I don't think I can express it as well. I'm still in denial about the Super Bowl last year (that did NOT happen). But I have a sickening feeling that they are now a legit AFC Super Bowl contender. I would not be surprised at all to see them win out and find themselves as a 3 seed, and hence into the AFC title game even. Yech.
