Thoughts on Ben

You put Dez Bryant on this team with Ben as a QB, and you have a video game! I'm tired of all the Ben talk. This guy will retire as a Steeler, and if it plays out at least 1 more ring. If not for the AARP defense we have and Bell missing the first month, this team is a threat for another SB this year simply because Ben is the QB. He is one of the top QB s in the NFL, and we got him for 5-6 more years, so relax and enjoy the ride.

 

Why didn't he carry us against the Raiders
and Minnesota?

 

Franchise QB's don't grow on trees, but teams all the time let older franchise QB's walk when their play has degraded and they still want the big money.

 

Glad none of that is the case with Ben.

 

Maybe I'm misreading this, but I would think a winning team is what you want, and not just a winning QB? Give me a great franchise QB, but as this season has shown, also give me tools around him to protect him, catch the ball, and make good play calls.

 

No they don't.

 

We need to resign Ben. We just don't have the supporting cast to remain competetive without him.

 

The pick 6 interception vs. Green Bay was the results of Kemoeatu getting mauled into Ben preventing him from following through and throwing it clean - should have been a TD the other way - guy who got pick was a few steps behind Wallace.

..running for his life with a non existent running game...he wasnt the one that gave up 34 points to matt cassel and let terrell freaking pryor a 90 yd td run...


some people are clueless... as someone else pointed out on the board...go watch green bay the last few weeks with matt flynn...thats your pittsburgh steelers without ben...and dont give me the 2nd half against dallas...a high school team could score on them
