Steelers fans should be embarrassed tonight

Most Steelers fans have been embarrassed all season by the shameful defense.

 

What do you expect? Most teams with crappy records don't get a stadium full of fans. Plus its like 10 degrees or below with wind chill...as much of a fan as I am I would not want to be at a game when its that cold...go ahead call me what you want...but no way!

I had tickets to the game but sold them. I wanted to go very bad but with my wife being pregnant she did not need to be out in the cold so I had to sell them. I made a profit since I bought them cheap. Plus I am saving all the time I can to take off when my future Steeler fan is born.

 

As a diehard fan for over 40 years I'm not embarrassed at all. How many times have we heard players say "This is a business" when they leave the team and go elsewhere to ink that major deal for mega bucks? Well guess what it's a business for the fans as well. If the team doesn't put a good product on the field fans aren't going to buy tickets. It's as simple as that. Last night's poor turnout was a foregone conclusion when they couldn't beat a team from south Florida in the snow last week.

I have never attended a game and left early before but had I been at that game in those temperature conditions I would have walked right the **** out of that stadium when Ike got brutally burned (again).

Call me fair weather all you want but I'm not making financial choices to watch pee wee football garbage. My 6 yr. old could have covered better on that play. MT should have benched him right then and there.

 

During the early games, there were a BUNCH of empty seats. Cleveland's stadium was really empty and that was a really good game. Its cold, the tickets are expensive, and the teams are not that great. Dont judge Steeler fans just because they didnt shell out hundreds of dollars to sit in the stands. I watched at home (and I am only 2 hours away from Pittsburgh) and I bet millions of other Steelers fans did as well.

 

You would have left because of ONE play? Now, I tend to think you get a lot of crap on here but that is just ridiculous. I am as hard as anyone on Ike but I wouldnt shell out all that money and then walk because Ike got toasted. We did win the game- be happy.

Yes. Absolutely I would have. But before hand I would have made sure that I got down to those empty seats within and ear shot of both Taylor and Tomlin (only to tell him to bench his sorry ***). At that point I would have probably been kindly escorted to the exit.

 

I ate 2 100 dollar tickets last night and the parking pass and my nephew ate 2, 85 dollar tickets that he was selling for 100 for the pair. nobody wanted any of them. I had to go to the funeral home as did most of my family. my bros. father in law died.

people just didn;t want to go, not to mention it was cold and those sunday night games suck. we usually don't get home til about 1:30 am. add a lot of people are selling their tickets because the team is playing lousy and the rookie fans usually start drinking early in the day and by game time their are some real A-holes in the stands. it all adds up to no shows.

 

This is exactly right. I actually had an offer of free tickets and a parking pass from a season ticket holder yesterday. I didnt go and I couldnt find anyone else to take them either.

the 60 inch HD probably has a better picture than what they can see

u could have a feast for what a beer and hotdog costs at the game
no parking problems and traffic at home
no line at the bathroom
