In your opinion, which Steeler has had the most disappointing season this year?

Note: The fact that all of these are defensive players is unintentional, but it does indicate how disappointing we've been defensively this year.

My vote is Cortez Allen. I really expected him to step up this season and he's missed the opportunity.

I thought about voting for Cortez, but I don't think he ever got it together after his early season injuries, in fact I think he tried to come back too quickly.

I put my vote for Jarvis Jones. Yes, I know he is a rookie, and no, I don't call him a bust. However, I listened to the touting of him as an immediate impact player and he's just not shown it to me.

I did vote for allen, and like you JA, I think he came back too early. I'm basing my thoughts on how good he looked last year compared to this year. this year and last had plenty of disappointment to spread around though, at many positions.

I'll play. I can't choose just one, though. I have many and some are on offense.

    Ike Taylor
    Ziggy Hood
    Lawrence Timmons

*honorable mentions (if they weren't rookies they'd get top billing)
    Jarvis Jones
    Vince Williams

    On offense

    Emmanuel Sanders
    Mike Adams
    David Paulson and Heath Miller
Isaac Redman before he was sent packing

    *honorable mentions
David DeCastro early in the season and the outside zone game one.
Ben Roethlisberger for fumbling so much during the Bears game.

    Special teams
    Any punter

I'm a little disappointed that Marcus Wheaton hasn't been more productive. I realize the injury set him back, but I expected him to have a rookie season comparable to AB's.

Don't know how much that can be put on Wheaton, they barely put him on the field, can't shine if you aren't out there.

I'm disappointed Will Johnson wasn't game planned around more, thought he would have been a big weapon.

Thought Sanders would have had a bigger season during a contract year. Guess he went to Mikeys school, don't perform and get paid anyway, except Sanders isn't Wallace and might not get paid.

As for the selections you gave to choose from, Clark. Maybe he has graded out better then I think, but just seems to me he already has one foot out the door.

I can see Wallace ending up on a late night infomercial selling a course on how to parlay one skill into tens of millions of dollars. He'll call it the "One Trick Pony Approach to Fame and Fortune". Call 1-800-GET-PAID!

I've got to go with mcclendon here....it seems like he got his payday and lost his hunger... how one goes from unblockable back up to hardly missed when injured is totally beyond me

I noticed people were being quiet about McLendon.

Earlier this season I was defending his performance as quiet but underrated. I did expect a bit more at this stage, though.

I choose Woodley, as based on tenure, the dude should be he leader of this D. But he's horrible and fragile....get rid of him, could care less about dead money.

Woodley - And it isn't even close. He got paid and decided to coast along in neutral.
