Before I start this I by no means want this I fully support #7 and I hope Big Ben stays on for 10 more years but

if Mike Shanahan benches RG III (cmon thats really what it is) I think RGIII gets mad and refuses to play and demands a trade. Do you all trade this years #1 and whatever else they want for RG III. Why or why not?

RG3 is the next Michael Vick. Tons of athletic ability, but can't stay healthy. I give him credit he plays through it all and is a stand up character guy. But, truthfully that is how I feel about him.

I know you aren't advocating it but you are the last poster I would think would ask this. :lolol:

To answer your question, NFW. RG has youth in his favor and that is it. Because of this teams crappy record, no one is noticing that Ben is having quite a season. They should incorporate the no huddle a lot more next season, Ben excels at it.

No on RGIII, he seems like too much of a prima donna. "Don't show my bad plays" really?

Did the Steelers already have Kordell Stewart?

I like his fitting nickname, not sure if you've heard it before: RG-Me

Imaging having to endure his and Tomlin's press conferences each week....

Snyder loves Griffin and Shanahan is pretty much a goner at this point. A couple of exhibition games to end the season and Griffin will be happy.

Why would anyone want Griffin, especially for a #1 pick?

No thanks to RGme. Shanahan probably won't be the Redskins coach in 2014, he may sit him to avoid injury he's been sacked 24 times in the last 5 games.

    I'd rather have Kirk Cousins.

The Rams are loving those #1 picks. Best bargain since the Vikings traded all those picks for Herschel Walker.

I would not trade for RGIII,But I would for his back up.Maybe we can do something with
    Woodley for this situation.

That sounds like a winner to me. Cousins still should have 2 years of low cap money left, and we could save some cap money (probably around 1 to 2 mil) by cutting Gradkowski. Problem is the Redskins probably aren't that stupid, worth a try though.

I'm telling ya , he is the real deal. Can make ALL THE
    THROWS. If I
were the Steelers MGMT.I would have him high on my
    priority list this off season,

There is no QB's out there in the league that teams might be willing to trade that are better than Ben. There is no QB coming out of college that is better than Ben. I've been a critic of Ben in the past but to be honest he is the least of this teams problems. I still don't think he is elite but very good. As painfull as it is to say, we need to get rid of Troy and Keisel. Woodley is dud, dump him if you can. You can lose just as easily with players making 500 grand as you can with players making 5 million.

RG3's knee is a serious medical concern. I hope everyone enjoyed what they saw out of him last year, because I think his best football is behind him.
