I'm done talking playoffs, Steelers are done for this season!

 

who was it that on opening day said the team is terrible and the coaching is terrible and the steelers are about a 5-11 team ?.... oh yeah... THIS GUY

Well I did a playoff scenario where we can still make the playoffs but Miami must lose out now

 

as i said sept 1.. PLAYOFFS...? PLAYOFFS? what playoffs? maybe 5-11 ..... and got crucified .. now i just blend in with all the "steelers fans" that have turned on the team.. amazing what losing can do .. we suck.. just tok most of you a little longer to see it through thoe rose colored glasses.. time to take them off boyz till september again...

I haven't turned on the Steelers, never have, never will. I talked playoffs because it was seriously possible but I feel that is no longer the case this season. And I don't think this team is as bad as you make them out to be

 

we lost games this year where we scored 23,27,31,20,28. I would like to have won two of those. as bad as this year has been the drive where the dolphins took the lead sums it up for me. this defense needs new blood. I love troy, ryan, brett, and those guys but we need to get younger and faster

 

I really have no idea what you're trying to prove here.

Nobody on this board has said at any point in the season this team was amazing. A huge amount of posters have been calling for Tomlin's head all season. Deficiencies in the team have been discussed and analysed in every thread like this after every game, and others. In fact, I can only think of one poster who has attempted to be positive for the entire season, and that's Blast Furnace.

But you know what? If Brown had kept his foot in bounds on that last play, our season would still technically be alive. That doesn't make us a good team. But it also means we weren't 'done' back when you were claiming it.

And by the way, if you think you were 'crucified' on here... jeez, man, go on some other forums. See what real flaming looks like.

 

And a new system. Lebeau's D just isn't working anymore.

The NFL just gave game to Patriots. Man the game is so rigged. They call PI late for game winner and we cannot get a call on an easy call for PI

 

My complaint with the system is that they say it takes so long for younger players to get it. What good does it do to draft impact players if they defense says they won't be on the field much the first few years. This team needs help on defense ASAP.

 

There was also the Cincinnati TD given on review, which shouldn't have been.

A very bad day for refereeing league-wide.

Yep that sums it up. Getting beat by a warm weather team in the snow at your house and to a QB who has never played inthe snow. And letting that team score the most points that they have scored in a game so far this year. Disgusting really...

 

Yup they've been taking care of them since Spygate it will never stop. Glad Gronk is out hopefully for the year.

 

Question: would having Velasco have made a big difference? Not sure.

Would them not having Clay made a bigger difference? Most definitely. That guy chewed us up - not sure how much was him playing out of his skin, and how much was the D not picking him up enough.

 

Yeah it's just one of those things man. You were exactly right but what's really WEIRD though is that the "steelers fans" are responsible for all of these problems yet YOU had all the answers and DIDN'T do anything to fix them??? I'm actually curious about who the real fans are here...
