Thought it time to move on from the other stuff and actually get back to football talk.

I'll go first, 4 catches for 37 yards.

Mike Tomlin. Err, that's not right. I mean 6 catches for 66 yards.

I think he has a quiet day drawing coverage over the top. I would expect the other wr's to have bigger days. Wallace may want to be great like Holmes was but making him fight for space will take him out of the game.

    10 for 166 and 2 TD's with a long of 99!

Might as well predict the worst....

The way we've been getting torched lately...

Nah. It's still Wallace. All you need is someone within 5 yards of him and he'll give up on the pass.

TTF - Is that your prediction or are acting on behalf of Satan?

With the weather coming in as freezing rain/sleet/snow. I will go with the big goose egg.
0 Catches for 0 yards with nine targets.

He always seemed to be a non factor in cold weather games.

 Don't joke about this. This is my worst nightmare!

Ooh. This ought to get Snack out of hibernation :lolol:. Actually, some of my fondest memories of Snack are he and I going at it over Mikey.

    As for my prediction:
1 catch for 73 yards and a touchdown. He'll torch us once early and get shut out afterward. :smiley1:

Man I hope Ike is ready to play on Sunday! I can not stomach Wallace having a career day against us!

At this point in time I'd like to remind the class that I never advocated re-signing Wallace. I just tried to fight the misinformation. Back into hibernation...

Me too, that's the one thing that concerns me, a big part of Mikeys problem is his effort, he'll definitely be up for this game. Ike better be ready for him.

This is one of those times where DL absolutely needs to play press coverage, at least against Wallace. Wallace can't stand getting mugged at the line. Ike is a physical CB and he can beat up Wallace at the line. Have a safety back there for support in case Ike gets beat at the line. If Ike beats up Wallace at the line, he's going to get frustrated early and mentally break by halftime. I wouldn't even mind the odd penalty, just make sure Wallace gets abused physically and held as much as legally possible. By the 2nd half he will quit

It depends on who is lined up against him. I'd prefer Gay on Wallace and Ike on Hartline.

With Gay covering, Wallace gets 3 catches for 26 yards.

With Ike covering, Wallace gets 8 catches for 188 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Ike is more physical than Gay and Wallace doesn't like being man-handled.

I agree that Ike is more physical, but I also think Wallace just runs right by Ike before he even has a chance to touch him.

5 catches for 120 yards and a TD running past Taylor and Polamalu or Clark or Allen not helping over the top.

I thought it was fitting all things considered. Very good point about the cold weather.

Hopefully, our DL and LBs get pressure on Tannehill and we dont even have to worry about this :smiley1:
