In terms of Steeler football? Maybe a coach, a player that changed the landscape, a certain game, blessings in disquise(like a playeryou are glad we did not get) a specific year, decade, team, etc? You get the idea.

I for one am thankful for Bill Cowher and his era. We had 10-12 dreadful years before he came in and righted the ship. His years and now Tomlins years have been a fun ride. Thats Just an example.

    What say you?

I'm thankful for the 90's not the 1990's but that group of players that wore Black and gold and made the Steelers something to be feared once again. 95 Greg Llyod, 91 Kevin Greene, 99 Levon Kirkland, 94 Chad Brown, 92 Jason Gildon, 97 Kendrell Bell, 91 Aaron Smith, 92 James Harrison now there are some players that would make the 50's proud, Ham, Russell, and Lambert.

I am honestly thankful for Kordell Stewart because as a kid I thought he was super cool and that's what made me a Steelers fan. I also am thankful for a message board family with really cool Steeler fans to chat with all the time.

I LOVED Kevin Greene! Man I really loved him. He's one of the most colorful guys we've ever had. I really hope he gets in the Hall someday. I really wouldn't mind having him here as a LB coach someday.

I'm thankful i no longer have to go outside in the cold to turn the antenna as my father would sit in his recliner yelling which way to turn the pole to reach a nearby broadcast station to watch football. Cable is definitely God sent and an answered prayer lol. I'm thankful the Steelers are now in position to make a playoff run where a few weeks ago looked very dismal. Wishing all a blessed Thanksgiving and a Steeler victory!

Brings back so many memories, the only channels we got
2,4,and 11 sometimes 53 and sometimes channel 6 out of Johnstown. The old rotor
antenna.I think Knab and Mac pretty much sum up my feelings. And of course the GREATEST FRANCHISE on the PLANET. THE PITTSBURGH STEELERS!

Yup i remember before leaving home dad bought that rotor box that sit on the RCA . He had me program it was really hi- tech lol. had a knob you turned to wind it up and it started clicking (rotating) the antenna then when a station came clear you would place a number label on box to match the channels on tv. Just stood over the tv put it on the channel and watch that dog hunt. Wow Mac and 86WW we our sharing our age playing with these toys! :lolol: (Alittle off the topic but people who can relate knows why were thankful for modern day tech.)

I slept in this morning and when I woke up the heater was working and now I am about to go to the store to pick up a late breakfast. A lot of people can't even do that so I realize how fortunate I am.

On a Steelers note, I'm thankful that I was born in 1968 and grew up watching those dominating 70's teams. Back then, there was no ESPN or TMZ and the players were like royalty to the fans. It was an awesome time to be a Steelers fan.

Mac I thought back you in your day you guys had to walk uphill both ways barefooted in the snow to get to the game and the only rabbit ears that existed were the actual ears of rabbits. LOL.
