Through 10 games he has 9 tackles and 2 sacks. I figured he would do better than that.

I'm not surprised. I think the Steelers would have kept him if he had been worth it. I do wonder though if he would have better stats than that if he were on our team though. Also the bungles only use him on certain packages though so it's not like he's out there every down and getting those numbers.

STEELERS do not have a history of trading or releasing Vets with a lot left in the tank. Kevin Green and Allen Fanica only ones off the top of my head. And Fanica is close.

Woodson. But to be fair, we wanted to keep him as a safety. And history has shown that was the right choice.

His pride wouldn't go for it at the time. :(

I don't think Fanica did all that much after he left us. For the money he wanted letting him go was a good idea.

Silverback made a ridiculous effort on an interception today bulling people over and dragging them into the endzone with him. It was all for not by a block in the back penalty by a player that really didn't need to.
I can't find a video but it is worth watching if anyone can locate it.

The fact that they called that back HAS to hurt! LOL! If I had been Thompson I would have just went and sat on the BROWNS bench for my own personal safety. LOL.

When that play happened I was thinking there is the real Silverback that we all knew and loved but he just doesn't look good in stripes.

They showed James on the bench after the penalty that negated the TD and he was sitting all alone. I don't think there was a Bengal player or coach within 20 feet of the guy. The coaching staff probably declared that that the whole team leave him alone for their own personal safety.

Harrison was the same situation as Faneca or Porter. James has something left in the tank, and the Steelers wanted to keep him, badly. Just not for the money he wanted.

He just doesn't fit the scheme the Bengals run. I'd be surprised if he's not cut after the season. Had we kept James, I don't think we would've seen another DPOY season, but right now nobody is pressuring the QB other than Woodley. He would've been a big help.
