    Got my Homer glasses on.

This week. We some how beat the Lions. Browns beat the Bengals. Bears beat the Ravens.

Next week we beat the Browns and Jets beat the Ravens.

Thanksgiving night we beat Ravens. That Sunday Browns lose to Jaguars and Chargers beat Bengals

    Bengals. 6-6
    Steelers 6-6
    Browns 5-7
    Ravens 4-8

    Who's coming with me?

I'm in, but I need to stop and get my homer glass prescription strengthened first. This week might be the biggest hurdle this team will face for the rest of the season. Calvin Johnson didn't practice again today, so maybe there's hope.

i can see all that happening except for the part where the Steelers win 3 games in a row. actually counting last week it would be 4 in a row.

they have done nothing that would suggest they could put 4 wins in a row together, but you never know.

Actually if all this happens and the Browns probably beat the Jaguars then there would be a 3 way tie for first at 6-6. In that case the Bengals would be deleted since they would have been swept by the Browns. Next tiebreaker would be head to head between us and the Browns and since we would have beaten the Browns in theory we would be in first place in a 6-6 3way tie.

    Juicyyyyyyyyy

These ain't your fathers Lions, but Im hopeful the Steelers can pull it out. Also the Bung's should take care of the Clownies, and the Jaguars ain't beating no one.

Does anyone really want this to happen?

Any playoff caliber team would blow the Steelers off the field, especially if we're on the road. I'd rather have a top 10 draft pick than a first round playoff spanking.

the browns will beat the jax everybody at 6-6 , btw with my counts we can lose one game between detroit and green bay but we need to win all the others and we win the division . now is this team able to do it ? ...difficult

The Ravens were 9-2 through the first 11 games, and then had some injuries that caused them to fade late in the season. They got some guys back for the playoffs though (mainly Terell Suggs). This team isn't in the same situation at all.

i do. you have to look at it from the perspective of if they go on a win streak, than maybe they have turned the corner. if they somehow make the playoffs than its a new season.

they do have players. some just havent performed to their full potential. if the oline can figure it out i think the offense can start to be more effective. Bell has shown that he has the potential to be a very good rb. the wr group is not my favorite as it stands right now, but if Wheaton turns out to be good and if Moye can get some more playing time and with Ben and Cotch's new found redzone chemistry and of coures Ab it can be pretty good. the odd man out is probably Sanders.

the defense has shown signs this season. i think starting Hayward over Hood has given some new life to the dline. Timmons and Woodley are playing pretty well and if the secondary can keep everything in front of them i think they can get back to the bend but dont break type of defense DL likes to play.

i know thats a lot of ifs, but the other option is for them to completely crap the bed the rest of the year and take their chances in the draft. with the way they have drafted lately i have very little faith that even with a top 10 draft position they wouldnt blow it.

i would rather see them make the playoffs and see what happens. i still think Haley needs to go no matter what though. you cant have your franchise qb and OC not liking each other. doesnt make for a good and effective product.

And GB if Rodgers is back.

Yeah but if they go on to have an 8 game wining streak, couldn't it be argued they aren't as bad as it's been said? I don't believe the team is as barren as talent as others think, I think it's there, just needs to develop more and have some of the other missing pieces added in the draft.

That said, I don't see them rattling off 8 wins but I'll be hoping they do.

Agreed! I think we have sufficient talent to be a playoff team. I don't think the coaching staff has gotten the most out of the talent on the roster. Do you think Belichick would be 3-6 with the current talent on this team?
