Thumbs up to Cam. Thumbs down (again) to O-Line.

We need some components on D for sure, but I suspect that we overhaul the o-line next year. I would be willing to bet that we get two new starting tackles, a new starting left guard, and all new backups.

Cam finally looked good though. He reminded me of a traditional Steeler defender today. Timmons was also beasting it up out there. The need some help for sure on that side, but I see the Steelers doing what it takes to rebuild both lines next off-season. Do that and we should be decent.

You could probably find better linemen on Aisle 6 of Wal-Mart....

I am not surprised at Cam's play. I think he was kept on the bench at least one year too long. we've known for a while Hood was under performing yet we kept giving him that chance to turn the corner.

I Think we are one NT away from a dominate DL. I'd like to see how Fangupo is at NT, or do we need to draft/sign FA to fill this spot. No knock on McLendon, in fact I like him and feel he's a good NT but if he moved to RDE I think he would be totally disruptive to opposing Offenses.

Our OL is one LT away from being dominate. We must draft in the top ten to get one of the top 3 LTs.

    I'd like to think so.

I remember sounding a note of caution when we last overhauled the o-line (when we drafted Decastro et al.) that they would take time to learn the position, learn the NFL, etc. For much the same reason, I would be dubious that we could overhaul the line again solely through the draft.

But I also think that there is a fair amount of potential in the line, which is only ever as good as it's weakest player. So one stud LT, develop some of the young blood (Embernate etc.) and let's see where we are next year.

We definitely need to rebuilt our oline. Especially at tackles. But I think we try the free agent route this time. Unless we get a chance to land one of the top Left Tackles in the draft.

Another thread had Martin on the available list. Do we kick the tires on this guy?
