someone suggested that for next season, we should move Markice Pouncey to guard and keep Fernando Velasco. that means DeCastro at RG, Pouncey at LG and Velasco at C. I think keeping Velasco is a must of next season as he is a veteran and might be a leader of the young line. We definitely will use the #1 pick on one of the top 3 tackles in the 2014 draft. The question is who do we keep, Adams or Gilbert for the other tackle spot.

But I like the middle with Velasco, DeCastro, and Pouncey.

I have suggested it for years, had we moved Pouncey he may not have been hurt as much...After watching more games it doesn't make sense to draft a OT....Ben's style will make any OL look bad so I see no need to draft a OL high in the draft...

I never really thought about it that way, but you make a pretty good point. Probably better to find a serviceable tackle as opposed to a superstar.

I posed that on Twitter to one of the beat writers and said probably not going to happen. But that is my thought also. Keep adding depth to the oline. Velasco I think has done a decent job. And Pouncey would definitely move very well for a guard. Add Jake Matthews the LT to that line and we have something going. HOPEFULLY!
