ike question

does anyone think he could play safety? I was told no but I want clark gone and a rookie isn't gonna start at safety as long as lebeau is here. if we can get a corner somewhere in draft or free agency, what do you think?

 

Ike can't be any worse at safety than Clark man he's horrible.

 

I wish Gay could be converted to safety. He plays well when he is deep and approaching the line of scrimmage. But he always seems to be running with the deep receiver, and never sees the pass coming.

 

Play him at safety??? I was thinking more of sitting him down or plane out cutting him given his lack of effort on the long touchdown pass late in the game.

The team may not be playing very well, but the least the players can do is give 100 percent effort. Ike completely quit on that play. I can't believe the coaches put him back out there the next series NE had the ball. At the very least, they should have sat him for the remainder of the game.

 

So if he goes to Safety who's playing CB?

Now we see why they don't like playing rookies. Sharmarko got abused, Jarvis Jones was non-existence, Vince Williams is doing the best he can. I see why we let Sly go but we bring him back..

 

Gay isn't big enough to play safety not many 185 lbs guys playing safety in today's NFL.

 

Was Ike crying at the end of the game?

 

Ike has had a couple of bad weeks.

 

Ike should be gone next season.

 

He was injured. Probably his pride.

I am not sure, (restructuring and all) Ike Taylor is due to make 11 mill next season.Do you really think he is worth that, at either CB or S?LOL
