tony pashos and andre gurode are doubtful and menalik Watson, ( pashos' backup) is out. matt mccants a rookie from uab I believe will be the starting RT for them. gurode is their LG. hopefully Woodley can have a big day as can mclendon. the raiders will also be missing their starting safety in this one. all good for us bad for them.

Well, last year against the San Diego Chargers they had a terrible oline but we didn't do squat against them.

Not to mention the entire right side of the Bears line were rookies and DL didn't game plan to attack that side. You are right Mac it could be a monster day, they gave up 10 sacks to the Chiefs but they game planned for them. If DL goes with his tried and true, "We gonna do what we do" instead of designing a game plan to attack those rookies it could be more of the same.

I predict Woodley gets 3 sacks and Worilds gets 2.

I was just getting ready to point that out. I think the Chargers had signed a couple of Walmart greeters the week before and they still dominated us. We've had a lot of bad losses the last couple of seasons, but that one was the worst.

True. The point is we can't underestimate anyone we play against. There is no "easy wins" for us. We are not a dominating team to think that anybody is easy pickins.

I would go so far to say I would be worried about the Jags right now.

HELL YES even if we diverted their plane to Pittsburgh on the way back from London and played them.

All they have to do is block the fire x blitz, which is easy out of nickel and the middle of the field will be wide open. Occasionally watch for Troy and Gay.

This anemic pass rush makes bad o-lineman look good.

I would like to see a healthy Kiesel and Hayward start and play a whole game though.

I am also not sure that Worilds would not be just as good as Woodley on the right side. With the money Woodley is making he should have been able to go against the left tackle, and let the supposedly inferior back-up play against the right tackle. Worilds has done well on the right side just like Woodley. Everyone judges Worilds's success for being on the right side, but what about Woodley?
