    Here are my rankings...

    1. Mel Blount
    2.Everyone else

Fill in 2-10 with Woodson,Brown,Green,Sanders,Renfroe (forgot about that cat but he was pretty good),Revis and who ever else you want.

The league changed the rules so Blount couldnt be as dominant as he was. NUFF SAID!!

Blount was and is still THE prototype...... when you look at the best right now, you're basically looking at a bunch of blount wannabe's..... this man is the standard

Blount. I was watching that game when Lester was in the stickum tub. When I saw it I thought with all of it dripping, he was going to eat it. It hit me as funny and I couldn't stop laughing

    edit Can't find the video

I thought Lester was going to rub it in his hair and on his face. The announcers were even laughing at him

So, I guess, Blount wasn`t the ONLY one to have a rule change put in place because of themselves...
    LOL....

No. Peyton has a rule in place for himself as well. I call it the Peyton Manning Rule. It is the new overtime rules. Also Tom Brady has a rule as well. The fact that you can only only hit the qb in the northwest quadrant of his chest is the Tom Brady Rule. Also wouldn't you say instant replay is the Vinnie Rule? Wasn't it Vinnie's td that wasn't a td that caused replay to be reinstituted?

    Not sure about "Peyton`s"?
But I always associate the "tuck rule", with Brady...
    Don`t know about "Vinnie`s", either...
But I`m pretty sure someone, caused the rule about kicking the ball out of bounds on a fumble?
(Way after the Raiders game, back in the day);)
    GO STEELERS!

Well the tuck rule was in place before Brady. He just benefited from it. I'm sure he will forever be linked to that rule and John Gruden will probably forever hate him. LOL.

I just hope Steel1031`s nephew, realizes his Uncle wasn`t "talking out his butt", when he said Blount was at LEAST a top 5 cb of all time!!! All he has to do is look at the video about halfway thru page 2 of this thread!!!
Video don`t lie!, No matter how old, or un- high-def!!! LOL!!!
    Blount didn`t need the "stick-um"!!! :roflmao::yeehaw:
Now, if we could get him to coach our D-Baks, along with Carnell Lake... Maybe we would start seeing more turnovers!!!:steelflag:

First off, I apologize for the stupid comment, I really thought you were joking with your list.

    My list is this..

#1- Mel blount- He changed the rules and STILL dominated ... 1st CB to be named defense MVP and remember he played with a lot of HOFers on that defense.

#2- Rod Woodson- Most complete CB ever. Shut down corner, tackler, int's and pick sixes, and great blitzer

    #3- Charles Woodson-

#4- Deion Sanders- couldn't tackle but probably best pure shutdown corner ever.

#5- Darrell Green- Great cover corner, fastest corner ever, long career ( 20 yrs) 7 probowls and 4 time All-pro

#6- Ty Law- Hate this but he was very very good.

#7- Mike Haynes- same as above!!!

    #8- Champ Bailey

I leave it here as I only listed guys I watched and remembered.

Any true all-time list should include LeBeau- Night Train Lane- Lem Barney and of course Willie Brown who I barely remember.

Honorable mention to Ronnie Lott who was a CB for 5 years before he switched to safety where he excelled.

Neither Revis nor Sherman- who both are among the best playing the last few years- should be included because their body of work is incomplete.

    Cajun-

Yeah that's one of my favorites as well. No wonder Mel Blount said "football is a physical sport, WELL IT USED TO BE ANYWAY". LOL.
