Zoltan Mesko worst punter the NFL

He's ranked 32nd in avg yds per kick bring back Drew Butler he has to be better than this guy. I see why New England released Mesko.

 

Maybe his banana hammock is cutting off his circulation...

 

We need to keep him around solely for his photo-bombing abilities!

 

To me the proof is in the pudding,,I went to the Panther vs. the Steelers game and I was amazed at his lack of hang time and distance...

Me and my friends kept talking about it,our Punter on the HS Team has more air under his ball than him,all that where with me agreed..I thought maybe he was hurt or something ?

 

I have no idea why we cut Butler for this guy. Our STs as a whole is underwhelming - does AB ever not call for a fair catch? In fact, WHY is he even back there? All we need is for him to take a shot and he is done. Back to the punter though, I dont know that I have seen him pin anyone deep yet. Just not a fan.

I have to believe there are better punters than him out there, even the one's we've cut but as Mac said he is the least of our problems. As you've noted why in the @#$% does AB fair catch so much and why is he even back there. If he takes a hit and gets a freak injury that hurts our passing game.

I know Wheaton is recovering so put Sanders back there ( hope he doesn't fumble) and give him a chance to shine.

If you're talking about Mesko he wasn't even on the team then, that was Butler and Moorman punting then.

Anyways I think Mesko is fine. Not every punter every week is going to punt amazingly. He had some solid punts last week I think he averaged out in the 45 yards a punt range. If the team has an issue with him and such Butler is always a phone call away.

I actually don't mind Mesko. Seems like he's getting enough hang time that it's allowing our coverage teams to get back there. I'd honestly give up 5-10 yards of punt distance if it meant the punt returner had to either fair catch or was tackled immediately.

As for why Brown is back there, you got me. Not sure why Jones couldn't do punt duties too. Or put Ike Taylor back there if we are just going to fair catch it and let it bounce. He can't catch anyway.
