Already has as many sacks this year as he did last year. Jones is getting better pressure as well I'm calling 5 sacks on Flacco this week. 1 by Jones 3 by Woodley and 1 by Heyward.

 

I hope you're right, but probably quite a bit overoptimistic...

That would be cool, but i cant even remember the lst time as a team we got 5 sacks, in one game, surely it wasnt too long ago

 

The reason Woodley is getting sacks is because of Jones. Woodley is really good if there is a threat on the other side. Thats why he thrived when Harrison was here. He does not do well when he is the primary threat.

 

2 strip sacks, 3 pick sacks would work out of those 5. let's not forget another 15 hit's. hehehe<<< evil laugh inserted here.

What is a pick sack? I thought you don't get credit if the QB throws it away.

 

He would have had a sack vs the jets right before halftime but he was tackled as he came around the edge. The tackle literally warped him up and tackled him. I hate no calls like that more than the defenseless receiver ones.

 

I think if the coverage in the secondary could get a little better, Woodley would have more sacks. He is usually there, just after the qb throws the ball. Keep Troy back in coverage and Woodley gets a few more sacks.

 

Keep Troy back in coverage and the other team will run like crazy. I hate to say it, but they have to keep Troy near the LOS when the front 7 aren't getting it done.

I do agree that if they could keep Troy in coverage, then it would have the effect you describe.

 

On Woodley, it's amazing with some off-season workouts and coming into the season out of shape does for you.

I believe of all the human beings I would like to see laying on the ground besides Peyton Manning Flacco is the person I like to see on the ground the most. I would like to see Jarvis slam him to the ground by his eyebrow.
