Tomlin and Haley

I'm guessing we won't see any of those fire these guys threads this week. The team wasn't losing games because of coaching it was a lack of execution. When you don't turn the ball over and you get takeaways you win.

 

I disagree. There's still problems with this team that I attribute at least partly to coaching. But with that said, I'm going to enjoy this win at least for a few days, so I'm not going to get into this stuff.

 

Yup, enjoy it for now. Plenty of time to skewer them later in the week as they were definitely not without faults in this game.

I give Haley credit for calling a pretty good game. Quick passes, screen passes knowing our oline couldn't hold blocks. I was some questionable play calls but at least we won.

 

I'll dance a jig naked in the streets if he's fired tomorrow.

 

Are you trying to convince them not to fire Haley?

 

Especially with our game plan pretty much going down when our offensive line was disrupted right before the game with L. Brown's warm-up injury. Overall, I thought it was a well-called game when we had to compensate with the Jets knowing we would have to throw more than ever.

 

I still want both of them fired, Lets string some wins together before we get all excited and everything is rainbows, and peach trees

 

I'm just glad that fans on a message board have zero impact on what the Steelers do.

 

That was pathetic. Interestingly, Arizona ran a very similar play for a two point try today. It also Failed miserably

Exactly. A win doesnt make the issues on this team disappear but can we just bask in the happiness of the win for 24 hours?

 

i disagree. i think Haley called some pretty terrible plays especially in the redzone. also why is Moye not getting in the game in the redzone? the only times i remember seeing him yesterday were when they ran those wr bubble screens and he was just in to block.

sorry, but the coaching staff has a lot to do with why this team is struggling.

 

Lack of talent has a lot to do with the team struggling. You can't make chicken salad out of chicken bleep.

we were first and goal at the 2. we went backwards................ a long, long way.

we have a 2nd rd. RB and a very good FB if they would use the two together. in line. we have a 245 lb. qb.

that is no time to try and fool anyone , nor try fancy crap. you pound it 4 times up the gut and hope for the best. it's two yards. if they can't do that, we might as well go home, sell ben and start over.

tomlin should have said no we are pounding it with one of the best backs in the draft this year. run it.

 

I could not believe what I was seeing, almost threw an object thru the TV. Stupid is as stupid does.Unbelievable!

 

So true just glad the board is only opinionated with no real shooters. Also makes for a great support group after losing and winning not to mention some ventilation.

 

One thing is clear about Haley, he won't be fired because they lose in the playoffs.
