Willie Gay has a intense history too. I feel Brown is going to be a special DB for us. I'm just waiting for him to get his shot. He's intense and seems to be a big hitter...

I read this last night while I had insomnia from a link on the official site. Sad sad story. Sometimes there are two Americas. If this kid wasn't talented he'd be dead in the water.

Good read, I had no idea of his upbringing. Truly inspirational.

Hopefully he keeps improving and becomes a dominant part of our defense someday.

Wow, simply, wow. You can only root for a guy that has endured so much, so early.

Wow, I had no idea about his past. I really hope the best for him.

On a side note, I can't believe what he said about people from his high school not going to college, and there had maybe been 3 people before him go to college. Even if that's much lower than what the actual number is, that's absolutely insane. I can't believe there are schools like that where people just don't go on to college. What has happened to the US? It seems like it's falling apart. It's really sad.

    A tough upbringing no doubt.

You can bet that the same mother that kicked him to the curb as a baby will be there with her hands out eventually now that he has become successful. I have no respect parents that have children but do not take care of them during their most precious years.

If Curtis was not a gifted athlete his life could very well have ended up in a gutter. I'm glad that he can take care of himself now.

Unreal. That was a terrific read. Hopefully he keeps improving. I think he could be a big time player in the future for us at CB.

I think between Curtis Brown and Cortez Allen, we've got our two starting corners of the future.
