Ryan Clark is getting on my last nerve. All he does is run his frickin mouth. First the comments about Ben now he's running his mouth about Cleveland. Hey Clark when you're not splitting time with a rookie come talk to me. He is one of the bigger weak links in our defense. How can he talk about any team being easier to beat when we have beaten anyone. Also he predicted we will make the playoffs. He just needs to hang it up and go be the analyst he is trying to be.

Hey Clark....You have a problem with the O turning the ball over?

Maybe your D could create a turnover once every 5 ****ing games....

Exactly when we were winning I could deal with his mouth but right now it's not the time or place.

    Sorry, I respectfully disagree...
Clark is definitely not havin his best year, but he has ALWAYS been outspoken.
And one of our hardest hitters since we signed him.
Point fingers at him, if you wanna, but i for one am glad we signed him.
I doubt many saheties could take on the job of playing with troy freelancing as much as he does, with as much success as Clark has had.
I also commend him, for TRYING to strill hit people hard, without breaking the new rules.
Yeah, this ain`t his best year, but I thinnk he is FAR from the problem with our D.
There`s plenty of blame to spread around.
Also, I find it refreshing when a player, or coach, for that mater, actually speaks a bit of their mind, instead of reciting the stuff their "Public Relations Manager", tells them to say...
Yes, that can ge carried to far, and I NEVER AGREE with calling out a teammate by name, or, "airing your dirty laundry" in public, but..
That isn`t what he usually does.
I( know Harrisson went on to a division rival, but, I always admired his candor.
Some called him stupid for speakin his mind.
I admired him for not giving a F*** what others thought!
I was raised to believe honesty counted for something...
    Nowadays...
    Not so much...
People would rather hear the "party line", than the truth...
    Not me!
    So What!
    GO STEELERS!!!

Sorry but Clark is done. He is slow to get to the line in run support which is what always made him good. He is guessing wrong and is out of position a lot this year. He is absolutely one of the weak links of the defense and if he wasn't Thomas wouldn't begetting more playing time.

maybe he is just having a hard time figuring out how to knock people out, without getting fined, when he has been adapting to the new rules, and they are STILLL fining him?...
    As for Shamarko...
I`m glad he is getting some meaningful playing time, because Clark is probably gonna be gone next year.
I don`t neccessarily agree that Clark is old, worthless, or whatever, I just think he is gonna be too expensive to keep next year, ESPECIALLY when what he does best (blow people up), is getting regulated out of the League.
I am glad to see Shamarko has a chance to learn from Troy and Clark, before they are both gone.
He strikes me as the type of kid that will listen to veterans... We will see!
    GO STEELERS!

Ryan has always talked, he was our defensive MVP last year. If he gets back to fundementals(tackling) he will be just fine.

Ok you value honesty well he is quick to blame the offense but hasn't acknowledged once that he is off this year. I don't mind when Ben calls people out because Ben call himself out more then anybody else. Like I said there is a time and a place and now is neither. Also nobody is paying Clark next year.

are you sure nobody is paying clark next year? let's review. foote, sly, gay, spaeth, DJ, foster, w.allen, dwyer, plaxico. it wouldn't surprise me at all if they bring him back, good play or not.

something has changed in clark since last year, since the concussions. I noticed it then and it hasn't changed this year. something is just not right with him.:hmmm::cool:

He knows this is his last season and he's trying to practice before he becomes part of the media.

I saw somewhere, I think it was Tunch where he breaks down film and he says some of the vets are trying to overcompensate for the rookies being on the field. The coaches need to talk to thees guys, tell them to worry about their own assignments, it doesn't work unless everyone is doing their own job.

I have been a big Ryan Clark fan, and thought he had his best season last year. However, this season he has been pretty mediocre. I don't know why - is it the concussions? is it the rule changes? is it just that he's lost a step? I don't know, but he has no right to be running his mouth about anyone else in the organization this season. He has played as much of a role in the 0-4 start as anyone not on the O-line. Shut up and play.

    OK.... Can he talk now?:hmmm:
LOL:lolol:... Just messin with ya. Don`t really feel like continuing the debate,
But.... After he was the one to finally break the "No Turnover" streak for our defense, I just couldn`t resist...
Yeah, I know he should have had a second one, but let`s not get greedy, at the moment... Hahaha...
I do agree that his play hasn`t been what it was, but this year, whose has???
With the exception of Troy, at least being healthy, and showing some flashes of his former self, I would say pretty much the entire defense has been playing below their normal level.
    (before yesterday)
And yesterday really wasn`t a thing of beauty, but they got the job done, in regard to points scored against them, and that`s all that REALLY matters, at the end of the day.
Along the way, they FINALLY held a team to under 100 yards rushing. We usually take that for granted around here.
So, is he allowed to open his yap, again?
    LOL!!!:roflmao:
Again, I will admit to some good points being made about him criticizing the Offense in general and Ben in particular as out of character, and inappropriate, since he didn`t include his side of the ball, in his criticism, when they did deserve it...
But overall, I don`t have a problem with him "telling it like it is"...
    GO STEELERS!!!:steelflag:

Clark does talk too much. He was on ESPN talking about Ben needs to get rid of the ball quicker keep that in house. He needs to worry about his own bad play too many missed tackles.
