So when do we get pissed!

We lose our minds as a team and fan base when someone polishes their cleats with the terrible towel.

we scream and ***** about calls not going our way...
We sound off at flag, every critic, every announcer that witnesses/writes up this utter dismay.

my question, is when do these boys get fed up? When does self respect/pride in ones self rear it's head?

If the team can't take disrespect of an object, then let's get fired up over a slap in the face type of record record? We are a laughing stock at this juncture, and that should light a fire under their asses! The 80s and 90s team exhibited more guts than glory in all honesty, and this team has the talent and a QB to cash in so what gives?

I don't know, but if this record ain't burning their bellies up then I don't know what can or will! Just saying.

 

Pissed?.. No disappointed Yes. Not happy with the coaching staff. you are now seeing the fruits of their labor! Should the players get pissed? No! we have players with heart and willingness. Adams for instance pulled going back to square one called basic's and no fault of his own. Again poor coaching! Theirs talent here but lacking skills they suit up take the field and lose. Have i mentioned piss poor coaching!

As far as we being the "laughing stock" so be it..cause the Black & Gold will be back with vengeance!

 

I think alot of us on here have been saying that for a while now. What DOES it take to get motivated on this team? We are 0-4 and last in our division. We were mediocre at best last season. Maybe this is as good as we are? Maybe they are playing pissed and inspired and we just dont have the talent to be better than what they are showing?

 

first off adams as a 2nd round pick and considered a 1st rounder up until the pizz test, should not have to wait for pro coaching to have the simplest of technique taught to him. this was just a bad pick as was gilbert. do they watch these guys prior to picking them at all?

I can't blame Bicknell for this. he wasn't the guy that got to pick the players for the scheme we got him for.

we are very close to having two full draft classes not here anymore. 1 of those, not a single player is still here. the right talent just hasn't been brought in. everyone wants to blame the scouts and the coaches, which is part of it, but ultimately the head of all of this is Colbert.

Does anyone else look back on those Fire BA threads with a certain nostalgia, given we were actually winning some games at that point?

 

we had different people playing then. we just kept fielding the same players without having new playmakers ready to fill in as we aged. many of those players were from a different coach. we are down to the last bunch of them and not many new starter quality guys ready or available. or much in the way of backups even.

My reply wasn't about the original thread, it was about the comment that the Steelers were winning some games with BA running the offense.

 

I agree that we will be back.

I guess my whole intent of the post was meant to be geared towards the fact that if a jets team can motivate themselves with the bad press they've generated and field a prideful team that I believe has nowhere near the talent we're thought to have, then what gives with our boys?


Theres been posts for a while now regardless of HC or coordinators that have questioned the motivation or lack thereof on this team. I would think some of the guys in the locker room would get "pissed" and try a grab the bull by its horns type of approach, but maybe we just don't have that type of a roster.


Oh well, at least their still getting paid.

I think the better question is when are we going to make some turnovers on defense? I think alot of our problems stem one way or another from that fact.
