His patience will be tested. I don't mean by the Steelers either...having to sit through a football game next to Phil Simms would be enough to give any sensible person fits.

Well, if Cowher gets worked up, they won't be able to see out of the booth window after the first quarter.

This actually sounds like a lot of fun. Will be interesting to see how Cowher handles it, spitting aside.

We'd all be hammered by the second quarter. But maybe that's a good thing seeing that the Steelers are playing so poorly.:drinks:

    I'm in.

Usually I drink every time Simms says something idiotic, in despair that he still has employment. So I will be comparatively sober.

Actually I will take Sims over Nantz any day of the week. At least Sims tries to be at least somewhat unbiased. Nantz just plain is an east coast homer for his beloved Pats and Jets and of course anything Manning. Can't stand him announcing football. Just wish he and Berman would find a nice island somewhere and retire!

I'm not allowed to drink for the time being. :(

So I have an alternative challenge. Every time they say that, do 20 pushups.

Let's see who can even lift a beer by halftime. ;)

I love the idea of this. BUT I bet you that if Cowher says ANYthing that seems to undermine Tomlin it will be magnified. What do you guys think?

If we play poorly again and Cowher says something? No way I take that bet. This board will erupt, and so will the Pittsburgh press, ESPN, etc., etc.

But I think he'll be more diplomatic than that.

Cowher's always handled that with a lot of dignity. I would be very surprised if that changed.

What that means is that people will start to read things into what he's saying, make unwieldly assumptions, and the board will still erupt.
