It's a turn from previous practices for sure. Might be this season is forcing the hand on getting the young guys out earlier to see what they have in the tank.

I think they're getting the young guys out there because they've found out what Ryan has in HIS tank. LOL.

I'm actually (surprisingly so) pretty excited about seeing Heyward more. He's impressed me much more than Ziggy to date. I saw recently, and I don't remember where, that he and Keisel had the most QB pressures of anybody on the team so far. He also seems to have picked up a little of the JJ Watt batting down the balls at the line. Hope he can stay healthy cause if he can start living up to his billing as a first round pick that will be at least one piece we can nail down for our defensive future.

Non-IR Injuries don't impact the depth chart.

Fine by me. Shoot, put Clark and shark back there and put Troy at LBer... That's where he's been majority of the time anyways.

you know what they say" if it ain't broke don't fix it" . Well guess what our sh**s broke. I'm glad to see they are making changes. If were gonna continue what has been a terrible year so far,we might as well get the young guys some experience and see if they can actually play, before it's too late.

It's about time Clark has one foot out the door thinking about his gig next year at ESPN.

We shall see if this is true. Its not a surprise if it does happen...as they view him as their future. I as most have always loved Ryan...and he may still have some left in the tank...but he hasn't had a great year so far...

Clark seems to have lost a step or three. Can't hurt, but Clark is solid in the back in the way of leadership so thats the only thing we lose if he loses snaps

we are trading knowledge for speed and play making ability. it would be better to do it while clark is still here to teach the kid something this year then to wait and have nobody to teach him next year.

I like this...but I dont. I like Thomas a lot. I guess I have not seen enough of him on the field to know if he is ready or not. This just makes me a little nervous.

I figure he's got to learn to play with troy. that's not a conventional set-up. field time will be critical for him.

I really think this is because of the tackling issue. Shamarko seems like a great tackler so I'm guessing that might have something to do with it.
