Watching Wallace against the Rats. He still has terrible hands and is a poor route runner. Is only attribute is the speed. He caught one deep ball so far today and looked poor in the catch. Has several drops and is not on the same page as the qb.

So far this season Wallace is the Dolphins 4th ranked WR. Definitely not worth what they paid for him.

    22 catches 281 yards and 1 TD.

This is the feel good, warm fuzzy thread. Miami fans are not impressed with their new diva.... "From Sherman’s office there is no other place to go than to Joe Philbin’s. While Philbin isn’t making mistakes on the sideline he needs to fire up this team. He hasn’t yet. He needs to get in their faces and he needs to step back away from friendship and start making this team as “fast” as they practice. There is no urgency and frankly the offense is so anemic that watching the vanilla style has pretty much turned me off of ice-cream all together. Philbin however needs to step and become the HC. His first stop? Mike Wallace.

For all the *****ing and moaning Wallace has done another three dropped passes were added to his resume today. Let’s get this much straight right now. Wallace says he wants to be a HOF receiver well WR’s don’t go into the HOF because their QB’s make them great, they go in because they catch the ball. Wallace and Tannehill are so far off the same page that they should through the book in the trash and start again. Wallace’s routes are being run poorly and at times it looks like Tannehill expects him to go elsewhere.

matter because when Wallace does get open deep Tannehill has failed to hit him in stride The Dolphins biggest problem today however is Mike Wallace. Aside from the drops the last drive saw Ryan Tannehill go to him twice on the first 3 plays of the drive. He dropped both. The issues with Wallace is that Miami gets out of their game style when Wallace gripes. Tannehill forced fed balls to the WR instead of properly checking down. The Dolphins have solid production from the offense when they get into a rhythm and spread the ball out instead of targeting one person who..ahem…can’t catch consistently". http://phinphanatic.com/2013/10/06/anemic-dolphins-lose-two-row/
    This is so funny!

Mike Wallace is absolutely not worth the money that he is getting and it's painfully obvious. I am so glad that we got rid of him that I can't express it. I just really really don't like him.

Obviously financially they made the right choice letting him go but I think we're seeing the effects of not having someone take the top of the defense off. I thought Sanders and AB would still be fast enough to draw respect in that regard but apparently not or TH just isn't using them that way. Why not send Wheaton deep? I think he's faster then both AB and Sanders.

Some info on Wallace from the Miami Herald and what he had to say after the loss to the Baltimore yesterday.

Wallace also had only one short catch in the second half Sunday after six for 99 yards in the first as Baltimore switched to a “soft cover-2” defense to take away his deep sideline routes.
“They made some adjustments, and we didn’t,” Wallace said — which sounds like a gentle jab at Miami’s coaching staff, even if unintended

Don't look now, but Brown is 5th in the league in receiving.

Is Wallace a bust in Miami? This article suggests that he is. This quote from the article says what most of us have been saying for the last couple of years:

One concern we've picked up, via Game Rewind, is Wallace simply doesn't compete for passes in traffic like true No. 1 receivers.

No kidding! And we didn't need Game Rewind to figure that out!

Just wanted to update this thread with the information that has now came to light

    Wallace- 49 receptions for 669yds and 2 td's.

    AB- 80 receptions for 1,044yds and 6 td's.

The only edge Wallace has is that he's averaging 13.8 per and AB is averaging 13.1. So apparently the .7 difference is worth about 12 million more because that's what he's getting. LOL.

I don't ever see him scoring 20 touchdowns. Especially with a mid-tier qb throwing it to him. Does Megatron even score 20?

Well someone should do the math on how much he got per catch and td last year and send it to the front office in Miami. I'm sure they would appreciate it. LOL.
