i wanna go on record now

I just wanna say. we will finish 10-6 and make playoffs. maybe even win division but I don't think we need to. call me a homer but I still think we have an elite quarterback. I think we have an elite coach. we have at least three future hall of famers in my opinion and I think we turn it around next week. go ahead and tell me my blinders are on. I hope in January I can look back and not look like a dumbass.lol

 

I'm not quite as optimistic as you. I'm predicting we win 9 of the next 12 to go 9-7 and we win 5 of 6 divisional games and WIN the division.

 

Holy **** a post that doesn't make me wanna blow my head off. I love your way of thinking. I also don't think this team is out of it just yet. Start grouping some wins together and were there. We still play the browns and ravens twice and the Bengals once. We got problems but they can be fixed and I think this bye week came at the perfect time.

 

yeah I am alittle tired of it too. I just wanted to state my opinion and see how many thought the same way. all these threads about getting rid of ben and firing tomlin made me think I was on the bills or raiders message board

 

I didn't pay attention when Mike and Mike did their predictions for the rest of the divisions but isn't interesting that they were right about the AFC north. Just a muddled mess.

 

I said we were gonna go 11-5 this year and I was incredibly wrong so I'm just gonna shut up before I make things worse. LOL.

 

Hey, whatever it takes to keep MY head in the game. I want us to fight our tails off to get back in this thing. I truly believe we have the talent to be successful. I do have some doubts about our coaching staff, but I'm more than willing to be proven wrong.

I just hope the Steelers wake up before next Sunday and realize how dang fortunate they are to only be two games behind in the division right now.

 

What's weird is I think the talent is what is holding us back. I just don't think this is a truly talented team compared to other teams I would consider talented. It just seems like we don't have any guys that are true number ones. Also I don't think this team has any chemistry. I think Ben and Heath have it but that's about it. I don't think Ben and Sanders have any chemistry at all. I WANT to be wrong though.

Sorry, Offensive line is terrible and doesn't seem to have any ability to protect Ben consistently and this Defense is soft. 6 win team at best. Hope you guys/gals that are optimistic are seeing something other than I am though.

 

Serious question. What do you think Bill Belichick could do with the talent on this team?

 

Pass me some of that what ever it is your smokin on. I hope it's legal because I could sure use some of it. I see this team going 5-11 (maybe). Hell, we will be lucky just making it to week 16.

 

Well if you look at the Pats this year they have VERY sub par talent and they are undefeated. I think if Bill had this exact team we wouldn't be 0-4. I don't think we are that "talented" in a way like the Seahawks or Broncos are but I think he could coach these guys up from a fundamental standpoint which would result in at least a couple of wins. That's just my opinion but my respect for him is no secret around here. I think he's the greatest coach since Bill Walsh.

Ben and Troy are for sure. They're the only ones I can think of right now.

 

Sadly I don't think Heath will make it because the majority of his career was spent with an oc that didn't wanna really use him consistently enough.

Ben and troy are in for sure not sure who the third is unless Pouncey keeps going to the pro bowl and keeps getting all pro.

 

Really? Ben has 2 rings and will have all the records of another Hall of Famer before it's over. Also Troy has been a huge impact player for years and I think he will make it. I think Ben is pretty much a shoe in. Jim Kelly never won it but went 4 times and he is in. Ben has won and went 3. I think the only qb to have 2 rings and not be in is Plunkett right? I think that will be enough for Ben to get in.

 

Yeah Pouncey could get in on his reputation according to some.

Yeah that's what I was thinking and yes you were on plunkett and Ben's number already dwarf his. When you are 1 if the six qbs who have multiple rings and 30000+ passing yards you're in. Throw in everything else like his rookie season and the way he plays he's first ballot.
