    Adam Schefter is reporting:
Update: Ravens are sending multiple third-day draft picks to Jacksonville in exchange for OT Eugene Monroe.

A former 8th overall pick and they are able to land him for 3rd day draft picks!!

ONCE AGAIN, OZZIE KICKS COLBERT'S BUTT WITH A PERSONNEL MOVE THAT MAKES PERFECT SENSE!!!

If I'm not mistaken, we could use a good Tackle!

I'm sorry, but our FO has a failing grade the last few years. Our scouting department seems to get it wrong more than they get it right, Colbert's drafts have been suspect and he seems unable to pull the trigger on free agents and trades that could improve the team while teams like the Ravens and Pats seem to always be making player personnel moves that further improve their teams. Colbert came over from the Detroit Lions organization which was muddled in mediocrity for decades, including the years COLBERT was there. Is he trying to turn the Steelers into the Lions. If so, he's off to a good start.

I've been saying that I'm in total favor of getting linemen EXCLUSIVELY through FA or trades because we are so bad at evaluating them. Did you see where Harbaugh called out his entire offensive line and Ed Dickson as well? I figured someone would mention it but they haven't yet.

As it stands, I disagree. As I posted in another thread~

I guess that sounds like I'm referring to the picks, but really I'm referring to the salary cap. A lot of their players have low base salaries and high prorated bonuses, so they are already short on restructuring candidates.

Nope. To top of loosing picks...he would cost I read around 3 mil towards the cap this year. They can't afford that. And Monroe always seems to be injured.

Monroe will be a free agent after the season the Steelers couldn't afford him.
