I really hope that I'm wrong about this one, but I've seen this team give way too many opportunities for game-winning drives to inferior opponents this season. I could easily see a scenario where we go up two scores on the Broncos early, but fail to add to our lead due to boneheaded penalties and turnovers. That would lead to Tebow having a chance for the game-winning TD drive with 5:00 left in the game and us playing a prevent defense :banghead: In other words: a carbon copy of Denver's last few games. Again, I hope that I'm wrong, but I can easily see this exact scenario happening.

I just don't see this happening haha but then again I don't think anyone else saw the other wins he's had this year happening either. Tebow can win games, but if we play well and don't let their defense dominate us I think we'll be ok.

Thanks for sharing your supreme lack of confidence against a QB that teams control for 55 minutes then decide to change their schemes. If we play them, they will be down by too many points for it to even matter. Give me a break. Watch this weekend against one of the worst defenses in the league in the Patriots, the Patriots will beat them handily.

Tebow would actually give our pourous D-line and slow-ass LB's fits running for sure (yes, even the "speedy" timmons). He'd have over 100 for sure. But he blows as a passer. SO if Dick L. could gameplan for that, we should be fine. That said, every D in the league should do this and Timmy still wins. I don't get it.

You're right, KC; we should beat the Broncos by 3 TDs or more. Then again, we were one botched last-minute Tyler Palko TD drive away from losing to the Chiefs. Say what you want about Tebow and the Broncos, but they're a hell of a lot better than Palko and the Chiefs. All I know is that I've seen this team give us nervous moments against Jacksonville, KC and the Stains by playing right into Denver's wheelhouse: keeping teams hanging around long enough to give them a chance to win against a prevent defense at the end. Again, I hope that I'm wrong...

Don't get me wrong, I like Tebow. He is tough and he is a winner. However, the Broncos have had extremely favorable schedule in terms of playing mediocre / crappy teams. New England will be the first serious playoff team they will play since Tebow has started. (The lions dont count). I personally think if Tebow had to play the top 3 defenses (Houston, Ravens, Steelers) they would smother the run and all it takes is for the corners and safeties to not bite on a PA and the broncos will not move the ball

Steelers should blow out alot of teams but they don't. You know damn well we let teams like Denver stick around and against Tebow that will be deadly. I predicted one blow out this season, against KC and we nearly lost. I don't care who Denver has played, they are 7-1 under Tebow.

Heck yes! I can only hope and pray for a trip to Denver to get us kickstarted for the real playoffs. Denver is no threat to us.

I mentined this a couple of days ago in a different thread, I DO NOT LIKE
our matchups whether it be at Denver,Oakland, SD. Something is happening
in Denver? We seemed to be unable to blow teams out so yes we could get TEBOWED.

This, my friends, is what everyone seems to be missing about Denver. They aren't winning because of Tebow. They're winning because their defense is very, very good.

However - the Broncos still aren't in our league.

:this!: Tebow hasn't had a chance against the "big boys" in the league. When he does - I don't think he'll look as heroic.

Tebow is average at best and he played porrly the last game. Marion Barber giftwrapped that game to the Broncos.

While I like Tebow I am not concerned if we have to go to Denver, as long as Ben and one of our all pro LB's are healthy. If we have to try and win a playoff game with Batch or Dixon then I would be concerned. I think we can score 21+ points on that defense. If we even get to 17 that should be lights out for Denver.

That being said I hope the Chargers win Sunday night and the Steelers win out and take the #1 seed. And Houston needs to lose this weekend to the Titans.
