This team stinks

There are no quick fixes this team is in transition Tomlin in his postgame presser hinted players jobs are on the line. I hope he means Mike Adams he's not a LT he's a turnstile. Once again they lose the turnover battle no playmakers on defense Ryan Clark needs to be benched he's terrible.

 

Coach's jobs should be on the line too, including his!

 

He hinted at this last week two and didnt make any moves....and then we lose again.

 

We've heard him say this before and it never amounted to anything. The guy is a whole lot of talk.

we need a big nose tackle (mclendon and keisel/heiward at de), a pair of off tackles , a left guard , and a second t.end. if woodley keeps playing like this an olb too .

 

I have been a Tomlin supporter, but if Mike Adams plays after the bye week he's lost my support.

Guy Whimper probably isn't any better but can't be any worst.

Plus, we need to be looking at other teams practice squad players because we need to replace Adams and Gilbert.

Anything at this point make sense at left tackle. Even playing one of your tight ends there would be better.

Adams today was the worst left tackle I have ever seen. He looks like he doesn't want to touch the defender. He is a wimp, but Wimper is not much of an approvement. How did we get into this mess.

Beachum is a LT from college ....he would be the one not whimper...

 

Well, bring Whimper in to play guard and put Beachum at tackle, but something has to be done with Adams.

 

I think Jonathan Scott would be better at this point. Has Max Starks signed with anyone yet?

 

Didn't Max go to the Rams? Maybe not but for some reason I was thinking I heard that.

Adams is doing a good job of that.

He signed for a one year deal.

 

And this is pretty sad because I think Jonathan Scott is possibly the worst LT I have ever seen...well, until this year anyway.

 

I still think Adams can get this fixed, but they must decide if he is a RT or a LT LONG TERM. I don't care about this year any more. For me, I would move Gilbert to LG for some snaps to see how he does. Put Adams at RT next to DeCastro and see if we can really run the ball. Beachum moves to LT for a while, but I honestly don't think he will be any better there than Adams has been.

 

Unless we can find one on the street I don't think we have a LT, in the long run we draft a LT in first next year with our top 5 pick and move adams to RG and gilbert to the street. This team is in so much trouble, we need two corners, a safety, an ilb, a second tight end, and a whole new defensive line and with what we do have to work with on the defense it could be in our best interest to switch to a 4-3.

 

The biggest issue is you can't keep throwing guys in new positions hoping they will fit better at G than T etc. It builds no consistency. That being said all I can say is we are consistently bad. I would use the next two weeks to find out what you have on the line make the necessary changes and go with it until injuries force a change. Not sure how long Foster is out but he is servicable at best. Frustrating to see a line get completely dominated and yet NE signs guys off the street and turn immediately into all pros!

 

I wonder what the other Adams is doing these days......Flozell Adams lol. I know he's 38 and a short term solution but at least he's puts his hands on the opponent.

 

If we had a half-decent left tackle it would make this line so much better.
