My friend Joey lost her 3rd battle with brain cancer at the all-too-young age of 38 this morning. I seriously doubt that anyone on this board knew her but if you could do me a favor and raise your glass to her during the Steelers game Sunday, I'd really appreciate it.

She was an amazingly strong person... she ran a half marathon in the middle of chemo treatments when she was first diagnosed with the horrible disease. She was more of a fighter than anyone I've ever met in my life and never stopped smiling. A truly amazing woman that will never be forgotten.

One of my favorite pictures, hanging out with her and her husband at a Steelers bar during a game last year. (I'm in the middle) Hard to believe she is gone.

I'm so sorry to hear that, Scott. My condolences to her friends and family. I'll be sure to raise a glass for her Sunday, and hopefully the team brings home a win for her.

Man that's really sad and I hate to hear that. Cancer is horrible and I've lost both of my papaws to it. Actually I just lost my papaw a couple of months ago to it. I know what it's like to watch somebody go down with it and it's not pretty.

Im so sorry for the loss of your friend Scott. So young, taken to soon.

Is that a Reed jersey she has on? If so (even if not) Im sure her and I would have gotten along fine.

R.I.P. Joey. Enjoy this weeks game with all the STEELER fans who have gone before us.
