Here it is. Wait for it...

LeVeon Bell will be the RB from the Steelers-Vikes game everybody is talking about tomorrow night, not Adrian Peterson. I'm just feeling it.

I also hope you are right... If we are all talking about Bell then we don't need an offensive line for the running game :) :)

I hope so. I'm just worried he won't make it through the game without being injured.

We need Bell to step up and be the man we need him to be. Clearly the Dwyer/Redman/Jones trifecta has netted us a whole lot of nothing in the ground game. Bell was brought in to help reestablish the Steelers ground into a viable part of the offense. If the OL can get their heads out of their collectives asses and block, we might find ourselves with a running game we can be proud of again. *not holding my breath though just yet*

I think Bell as the primary back with Dwyer backing him up could be very effective.

I really hope this kid isn't getting rushed back due to how abysmal this run game has been. Hopefully you're right JA, and hopefully he's 100%.

I am going to get laughed at again but I was the one predicting Bell to fail before he played a snap.. Turns out I was wrong. He played 4 snaps lol

Not to be a d ick lebeau but I am going with the same prediction. Colbert and company saw something I am not seeing. I hope to gawd I am wrong

I hear what you're saying guys, but lets not throw all our hopes on an unproven rookie. I, for one, really want him to be the real deal, but I'm bracing for the possibility that he's not. The O-line is going to go a long way in deciding this, let's hope they help out.

I want some of your koolaide. ;)

They may talk about Bell a lot due to the hype and this being his first regular season game but I have a feeling AP is going to get plenty of media attention.

Honestly, I'm worried about our run D. It has not looked good in obvious run situations when we needed a stop.

Let's hope people aren't talking about him because he fumbled 4 times.

My bold prediction is that Tomlin and Haley looked at game film from a few years ago of the Ravens playing the Vikings and adapted that game plan. Use delays, draws and quick screens to attack the Vikings front four. Jared Allen is overly aggressive have Dywer or Bell chip him and then turn around and catch the ball. Go dual backfield and fake it to Jones and throw it to Dywer. Get Miller, DJ and Paulsen into the passing game and force Greenway to choose. Attack the soft spots. If Ben is going to be on the move, then design it that way, roll outs and such. On defense they have to play disciplined football. IF they are in zone sstay put Cassel will pick apart the short stuff, don't get caught looking at AP, don't guess the play, be ready for it, stretch it east to west not north and south. Special teams try some razzle dazzle and see if they can catch them napping like the Browns did.

Man that is a long prediction. How about this, nail biter but they Win.

Remember what I'm saying- Decastro will be pulling often and spring Bell for a few good runs . Vikes have a good D line so that's how it will work with our running game. Bell nets 93 yards and one TD. Steelers win 24-14

I just don't see him being that big of an impact at all. Our offensive line is so bad and we're putting an injured rookie with no game time experience behind it after traveling half way around the world. It's a chance to make a name, but it's more likely a chance for epic failure.

:this!: The O line is just too bad for Bell to make a difference.

Also agree we should be worried about our D line and middle linebackers against the run. Timmons and company have just been getting pushed back on runs up the middle, and he is having a bad start this season.

AP is their biggest test so far this year but I think they continue their success of shutting down the other teams big player, no one has had over a 100 yards receiving or rushing against our defense. Some people are down on our defense for lack of turnovers but I think they have been very good otherwise.

For those saying our line sucks too much for Bell to have any success, he's made his living running behind poor lines.

Agreed, I think it's a good option for them to explore. I was really hoping we'd see Felix be able to carry the load in the mean time but that fumble put him back in the dog house again.

Well, I admire the stones for the prediction, but AP just gashed our Swiss cheese defense...sigh.

Like the Steelers season, my prognostication powers are going down the tubes fast.

Bell did play decent though. A couple of TDs which was good to see.
