My "change our luck" attempt

A few years ago a buddy of mind gave me a Steeler decal, that I then displayed in my cubicle at work. Steelers then dropped 2 games in a row. I then put the decal in my drawer where it has been for the last 3 or 4 years. I just pulled it out and have it hanging up again. Figure at this point it could not hurt. Just wondering what other people are doing in the way of change our luck?

 

I geared up on sunday. I typically don't because when I did it coincided with a loss. Figured what the heck change it up.

 

Got this New avatar of one of my Voodoo dolls clutching my Terrible Towel and her spear.

 

I thought that was Troy Polamalu in a grass skirt with a spear, at a quick glance.

 

we are leaving for london tomorrow.... hate to travel all that way for a loss.. could make for a long trip home...

I can't change our luck with my usual ritual.
Before every game I pat my Black N Gold German Shepherd on the head and said Here we go Steelers here we go! right before kickoff.

She passed away right before training camp after 14 yrs. of being a Steelers fan!

Please girl, if you are up there, shine down on our beloved team this weekend!

We need a win in the worst way!

 

I used to sit down and watch the game. Lately, I have been going to a new Steelers bar that gets packed wall-to-wall. I usually get there just before the game, so I have to stand for the whole game. On Sunday, I'm going to arrive at the bar, early, and hopefully get a seat at the bar.

Also, since I moved, I haven't had my can of IC Light with the Bus on it, out on display. I need to pull that out of whatever box it's packed up in.

I'll update this thread if I can think of anything else.

 

I usually wear my Troy or Ben jersey, and get some good munchies ready to go for the game. This year I've just been wearing Steelers t-shirts instead of my jerseys.

Come to think of it, my wife usually sits down for at least the beginning of the game with me, but she's got a lot going on right now and hasn't watched hardly any football with me. I'll have to get her to stop and sit down for a bit this week.
