Heath Miller

Just want to give hats off to Heath, looked good in his first action. Caught some good passes. I'm sure he was part of the reason why we ran the ball better. Just a classy guy, hope he stays healthy.

 

Heath is a difference maker. Period. He can block better than most of our OL and the guy can catch. He may not have blazing speed (still not sure why we sent him deep on that one play), but he is solid. I am so happy to have him back.

 

I noticed late in the game that he was on the sidelines and Paulson was in. Was that just precautionary or did his knee flare up on him? I heard something about him being on a snap count at Tomlin's presser.

 

I havent heard but I would imagine it was based on a snap count for him...at least I HOPE thats what it was.

 

THe Bears were taking shots at Heath's lower body from the opening series on. So I think they were trying to protect him and that's why Paulson was in.

 

Yep. I knew that was going to happen but it still pissed me off.

 

What ticked me off was alot of them were after the play was over when he was on the ground and guys were diving at him. Come on ref make a call.

 

I saw a little bit of hesitation after he caught the ball a few times, but that is to be expected . Great first game back!!!
