the look on that mans face when the team was getting booed, said it all to me. he was hurt and then pissed. the defense immediately turned it up about 3 notches because i'm pretty sure keisel went off on them. that's the intensity they CAN and SHOULD play with. and people want to get rid of keisel. he's the heart of a leader on this team. i wish he would do the same to our qb and offense. give em all hell beard and don't let up, no matter who it is. good on ya. :applaud:

Gotta love :beard:. Too bad he will most likely be a salary cap casualty in the offseason:cry:

He absolutely will be. It's sad... but this team needs to just start cutting old contracts. We're rebuilding, for sure...

But it's nice to see that guys like Kiesel still have some pride. I hope the beard catches on with a contender after this season. He'd be a great pickup for someone.

Beard played better than I have seen him play in at least a year last night! It was awesome to watch.

Take him back for the vet minimum. But we need some of these number one picks to stand up.

Oh if only the entire team played like that ALL THE TIME.

You know, you'd think now with three weeks of bad performances and being blasted both by the media and your own flippin' fanbase that SOMEONE would be a little agitated.

Now watch this game against Minnesota as we play with all the intensity of a dud firecracker.

I was ancy about getting his jersey but I have no regrets now.
Even if I only get to use it on one or two of the teams worst seasons or he ends up somewhere else, :beard: is one of the greats around these parts.

DA beard will stay in Pittsburgh ----with a big pay cut, I don't think he will want to play elsewhere. Lesson learned from Harrison.
We need a salty vet on the team to be a role model!

One of few remaining of Cowher's team. Polamalu also. About the only two left with heart....sad.

The beard is playing with a chip on his shoulder. 35 or 25 if he continues to play the way he is right now, if the front office lets him go, they are idiots.

He's not going anywhere if he continues playing good. I don't see Keisel pulling a JH, he'll take a pay cut.

Wish i could check out what you are talking about the look on his face/etc. I was at the game and didnt get to see it. I've always said about Keisel...more than any of the other older guys...he has more in the tank...one big thing with him is that he wasnt a starter until his 4-5th year in the league...which helps him some...not as much wear and tear. I'd be open to him staying...especially if its for the minimum...as they cant afford to give him a lot of money unfortunately.
