Some of you have jumped off the cliff already, and given up. Yes, I can't blame you, but is it that bad? Are we a bottom tier NFL team? No, no we are far from those. Are we a .500 team? I believe so. Teams that some of you envy right now have something we don't.....luck! You as a coach can't tell your players where to stand, and have a loose ball land right in your hands ( twice ) and you can't coach your blitzing LBs to run into each other allowing Cutler to scramble away for a 1 st down. The turnovers aren't all blameable , the almost plays that don't go our way, just not our time. All good / great teams have some luck, and right now we don't have it. Add in bad o line play, RBs that aren't good enough to start anywhere else ,and that's just some of the issues we face, but bright spots were on the field last night at times, but still no luck, well, other than bad.

True to a degree, I suppose. I jokingly said a little while back that the Rooney's must have built a vacation home on an Indian burial ground. Let's be honest, this team is going to get good this year. They will. They'll get on a winning streak just in time to barely miss the playoffs and screw a good draft position.

Hmm, yea it's that bad. Granted we could use some good luck for sure but good players create their own luck by putting themselves in better positions to either take the ball away or not cough the ball up. Good teams still give and take the ball away on occasion. Bad teams give the ball away too much and don't ever take it back and that's the story of these Steelers going back to the middle of last year and even longer when it comes to takeaways.

We are exactly what our record indicates. At the bottom of our division and at the NFL. I'm not jumping off any cliff but the sooner we except that we are just not a good football team. It's coaching and players that have made this one of the worst seasons I've seen from the steelers in a long time.

But we have to go through this just like every other team in the NFL. We've been good for so long. I read that we've had 7 losing seasons since the Immacuate Reception. We have been drafting in the middle to late rounds in the last 10 drafts or so. I'm surprised we lasted competitive this long. Right now I'm hoping we finish 8-8 again. That would be an improvement and something to build on next year.

this is a bottom tier team right now.

they are 0-3 and havent been close to winning.

the offense stinks out load. the defense is old and has no playmakers. the coaching staff is either not capable of making changes or unwilling. either way thats bad.

this is a sub .500 team right now.

This team is not good. Our o-line is bad, Ben looks like David Carr at times from being hit so much and we can't hang onto the ball and can't create turnovers. I honestly feel this is going to continue to get ugly. I am frustrated that the coaching staff is sticking to their course. At some point changes need to be made. As for those who believe we will get on a roll. Including preseason we have lost 12 out of our last 14 games. Remove the 4 preseason games and we have lost 8 out of the last 10. That is not an indicator of a good football team.

This. Depending on luck to turn things around is for the weak or Indy.

Last year we realized the transition we were going through, and for however much longer, we'll be paying the piper.

We'd be lucky to make the playoffs NEXT year.

TTF called it when he said we'd get hot sometime this year just in time to miss the playoffs and ruin our draft pick. I'll take that prediction to the bank.
