He left the game and did not return. They would not say if it was a concussion, but of course that means it probably was. I did not find any information about whether he's likely to play next week. Too soon I guess.

If he can't play, this would be terribly unlucky timing for Harrison to get suspended (not to mention BS, but that's not what this is about). I like Harrison matched up against Staley, but I really like him matched up against the backup, Alex Boone. There's a big dropoff from Staley to Boone, and depending on Woodley's return, if Harrison is suspended we could see either Worilds or Carter or Timmons out there against him.

With Anthony Davis on the other side, both OTs for SF are very talented but inconsistent. Especially Davis. And Boone isn't even really talented. A Harrison/Woodley combo could have an enormous impact on the game. Worilds/Carter/Timmons would just not be the same.

If Harrison is suspended at least a game, he has the right to appeal. If he appeals, will that delay the start of the suspension until after the 49ers game? I thought there was some discussion about this with the Suh suspension, but the league expedited his appeal so that he did in fact miss the next game. I was just wondering if anyone knew the timing of the suspension, appeal process, etc.

If Harrison is suspended and he appeals, I can almost guarantee the NFL hears the appeal before the Niners game.
