Lets first try blowing up the entire offensive line. If that does not yield results, then maybe.

I would LOVE to know what he thinks of Tomlin. When he said that about the O was he including Haley?

Well the bus says blow it up and go no huddle and put the ball in the "Best" player's hands meaning Ben of course. After Ben's 4 turnover performance last night I think the bus might wanna re-think that strategy.

:this!: I thought the OL played alot better - especially on passing downs. Run blocking still wasnt great but the Bears D is pretty good...

You actually think these guys played better? I know Ben needs to do a better job on holding on the ball but it's hard when you got guys in your lap 2 seconds after the ball is snapped.

The formula is just to blitz these guys heavily and they fold like a deck of cards. I seen Decastro get pushed back into Ben. I seen guys run free right up the middle untouched to the qb, i seen guys get pushed out of the way enroute to the qb. Gilbert and Decasto has to be the worst starting G and Tackle combination in the league right now. I don't know what our strength and conditioning coach is doing but it's not working. These guys looked overwhelmed and weak compared to other lineman.

Yep. I do. I think on passing downs, Ben had time to throw the ball on some plays (not all but even Aaron Rodgers gets sacked once in a while). Ben had alot more passing yards then in the first two games so what do you attribute that to? He has to have some time to throw it to connect and he had it last night. Was it 100% fixed? No. But it WAS better. Run blocking still needs some work.

Yep, blow it all up. Will be surprised if this team wins 5 games this year. It is a sad day when you have to watch Tennessee/San Diego to see a better game. Heck, I see better football every Friday night from a bunch of teenagers....

what? Ben needs to do a better job of holding onto the ball, but the oline might of played their worse game of the year. he was getting hit on almost every pass play. they were missing assignments and holding and just looked lost.

Ben had time because he made time. As soon as he gets the ball he's running up in the pocket to by time. I attribute his more passing yards to the other team selling out on the blitz and Ben doing what Ben does. Maybe once or twice did Ben have a pocket to sit in and throw the ball and look at more than one option. Ben made alot of what you seen on his own escapability.

That isnt how I saw it at all. You and 5859 are on the same page. Im not on that page. I thought the OL gave Ben more time than he has had all season. Not saying all of the issues are fixed and that he didnt have to rush on more than one occasion but, compared to the first two games, he had more time. Regardless, if the time is not there, its not there and he still cant turn the ball over five times. My guess is he would say the same thing.

I also thought the protection was a tad better. The question is how come ALL these other QBs can get rid of the ball quick but Ben insists on holding on to it?

VERY legitimate question. It means one of 3 things...

    1. He can't make up his mind from looking at the D that quickly.
    or
    2. Our WRs can't get open that quickly.
    or
    3. The scheme never puts our WRs in position quickly enough to make those catches.

Or 4 all of the above. It makes no sense everybody and their mother knows we can't protect but someone is deciding its in our best interest to hold the ball. It was working last year wtf happened?

Did he really say that? He said a few weeks ago that he thinks the Steelers are very talented but it's going to take 2 or 3 seasons to see it. Now he's saying blow it up
