My hope for next year

Ok so obviously this year isn't going very well. I hope we get the best LT in the draft and get rid of Gilbert. I actually hope they resign Valesco and move Pouncey to LG were I think he could be a beast. Let Sanders walk we need to shake up the size of our WRs and Sanders for some reason just rubs me the wrong way. I think our first three picks need to be on the offensive side of the football. Jones, Thomas, and Wiliiams have all performed well and I think Arnfelt is going to bust onto the scene next year.I originally was thinking go corner in the second but the offense needs help.

Coaching wise I think both coordinators are gone. I'm not sure Haley makes it through the year dnce Kirby is healthy and they wanted him anyways. Lebeau I love him and will be forever grateful to him and this really doesn't have anything to do with his coaching and game calling but he has gooten stale and part of that is he has been here for so long. I don't think Tomlin gets fired as Noll and Cowher had some fought times as well. Do we need to lookfor a new GM. Colbert is good but he and his scouts suck at evaluating olinemen. Ever since he took over they have gotten a little but worse every year. So now do the rooneys keep their word and give butler the nod if lebeau is gone or lake or do they go in a completely different direction. I'm leaning towards Butler as they aren't going to change from a 3-4 because this team doesn't have the pieces for anything else. It would make picking Jones a hint waste. Those are just my thoughts .

 

I hope you're right about the coordinators being gone Lebeau schemes are predictable time for a change. They do need help in the worst way on the O-line both tackles are below average. They need a big physical receiver opposite Antonio Brown let Sanders leave.

I actually disagree....we need some shock and awe on defense....ZERO TURNOVERS after 3 games.

I think I would actually spend a little on some O FA.....and draft a CB and ILB early...and then O the rest of the way.

The thing about DRAFTING guys for offense is that Tomlin won't let them play til they've been on the team for about 7 or 8 years and then we'll be in cap trouble again and then we'll lose them to another team for basically nothing. I'm totally with you on getting some O in FA but how can we afford to ya know? We're broke.

 

... and this year's lack of results will make that so much less painfull to see.

 

Wallace played as a rookie so did Sanders and Brown.

 

Yeah I know but that was in BA's scheme and it was more aerial. It seems under Haley's scheme they won't allow it because sometimes they go no huddle and he said they're not ready for that. He said this week that we would see more Wheaton and we didn't. He was targeted once and he looked like an idiot on that play. I've still not heard the reason Moye was inactive. I'm actually about to go look for that.
