It will help some, but not as much as you think. Heath has seen better days and it's doubtful he will be 100%. I know you've have a man crush on Beachum, but he's nowhere near the lineman you make him out to be. Johnson is a decent fullback and really needs to be used more. Especially as a receiver out of the backfield. Why they aren't doing that is anyone's guess. Although it is probably closely related to the same reasoning of using Cotchery on an reverse.

it wasn't as much of using beachum as a lineman as much as using him as the TE as they were talking about doing. with beachum at TE, heath at TE and Johnson at FB all together on run plays is what i'm getting at.

as far as the man crush, I just want the best 5 on the field. if that's a man crush then so be it.

I think it will help but I don't put alot of stock into Heath coming back and contributin like he did last year. It will be some rust before you see some improvement.

Didn't AP have a monster year the season he came back from that injury? And he's a RB, I think Heath will be a lot more productive then people feel, he was never a burner anyway.

:this!: Pittsburgh tends to sit players longer and make sure that they are ready. Heath will be fine, he will have some surface rust but because he is a seasoned vet he'll adapt after that first big hit.
