I've been calling for the removal of Haley, but I read that he just moved his family to Pittsburgh. It would be kinda sad to move them all here and then be let go. It is for a sure a win-first league and I want the Steelers to win, but I guess the on train of thought that I have not considered, or have seen anyone else really consider that much, is that the most optimal solution to our offensive problem would be for the team to just turn it around.

I don't personally have a grudge against Haley, but I want the offense to click. And I am sure he does too, so maybe the issues are beyond what I and many fans assume they are.

For that, I will relent on my quest to see Haley fired....for now.

Maybe I'm just a hardass but screw him and his new house. He sucks, his offense sucks, it's time to move on.

I don't believe in Haley but I know with the injuries it's pretty hard to get things going and so from and X's and O's standpoint, I can have some patience but what sets me off immediately is when I hear more of this crap about problems with players. I guess we'll see if there is still a problem in that locker room or if Monday night was just a little skirmish, if there is, it's going to boil over and we'll know for sure.

Seems like every time this team starts to lose a call goes out to fire the offensive coordinator. I remember how some campaigned to fire Kevin Gilbride, Bruce Arians and now Haley, I think there were some who hated Ken Whisenhunt and wanted him gone. I guess when a team starts to lose someone has to be the fall guy. I really don't blame Haley much for the Steelers decline, they are getting old, slow and lack good leadership on both sides of the ball. How can a coordinator make things happen with no running game and a pi** poor offensive line and no real go to guy at wide receiver. Maybe with more playing time together something will start to jell, will see.

Getting old? Im so tired of hearing that bull**** I cant see straight. The offensive line has damn near been replaced. Part of the defensive line has been replaced. Brett K is 35 yrs old and he was running circles around some if not most of the young guys. Old? BULL****!

I ll say it again, when your defense keeps the majority our your opponents to less than 15 pts, you are not suppose to lose games. When your offense cant get in the end zone, there is a problem.

The only thing getting old is the excuses people are making for the lack of leadership.

Uh, no. Then we'd have two coaches on the sideline with clueless looks on their faces.

I can't wait til LeVeon gets healthy, Heath Returns, AB grows up, Ben pays attention in the film room for a change, Redman stops fumbling, the Oline finally wakes from a coma and Haley has a big day with keeping the opposing Defense off balance . All yinz will be jumping back on the bandwagon.

This team could have started with 2 leads to build momentum on but instead Redman Fumbles it away, Paulson does the same in what would have been a first down in the Redzone but no. AB whines he's not targeted >75% of the offensive snaps. Ben refuses to listen to anyone except probably his wife and Arians. Tomlin trying to decide a new Cliché and DL is just trying to keep everything in front of them so as to not give up 20 points in a league that is offensively geared.

This team doesn't need new coaching. It needs a frickin' babysitter.

I did a little research and found where the Steelers are the twenty third oldest team in the league of thirty two teams.

The Pittsburgh Steelers have the biggest disparity between sides of the ball. They have the oldest defensive starters in the league and the third-youngest projected starters on offense. And that's after the Steelers let go of some defensive stalwarts

Isnt this thread about Haley? So, Haley is the OC so age is not the issue because our Offense is the third youngest right? The defensive players age really doesnt matter.

I think the most important thing to realize when it comes to Haley is, sometimes struggles aren't about the system, they are about execution of the system. Personally, I am a...find 10 plays that you know work for you. Let's work on those first. If you can execute those even 25% of the time in a game, you can add another 10, but you must get back to your core. Right now, this team isn't doing anything well but turning the ball over.

Git a grip man. Haley's kids will be fine in their new foster home while he adjusts to life on the streets...

It's just the nature of the business. Tim Lewis seemed like a really nice guy but when the defense tanked the Steelers let him go.

My legal team has informed me that a not guilty by reason of temporary insanity from Steeler fans would likely fly right now. ;)

Serious question for the board: What OC will you like and why? Everyone hated BA, despite us getting to 2 Bowls and now Haley is the scapegoat for the "protect Ben" offense motivated by Rooney.
