and yet it's still only week two. 14 to go. sure it may hurt but we can make up games fairly quick on our division. your still only going to have one winner in each division.

 

That's definitely true, but if you look at the statistics, it's unlikely that we'll make the playoffs if we start 0-2. Definitely not impossible, but to be safe we should probably just go out there and win instead of trying to beat the odds.

Does anyone know the stat on how well we play during the Waxing Gibbous phase? So many people have been considering the 12% playoff stat that I think we've overlooked the Waxing Gibbous stat.

I would take an improvement from our last performance if we loose. But of course I want us to win.

 

There never was a 6 seed team that won a super bowl before until we did it, so being 0-2 isn't a playoff eliminator, the giants did it, we can do it too if we clean up our self inflicted wounds and get back to smash mouth: that's a big if, but this team should eventually get tired of losing, if it continues that way...

 

Of course it can be done, just like starting 0-4 doesn't eliminate a team from the playoffs. I think the problem is that typical playoff teams don't normally start 0-2. Two losses in a row is usually the sign of a weak team.

All I know is I don't want to finish 8-8 this year and have to deal with the same problems again next year. Lets either turn this thing around and become a good, playoff team, or lets admit we're not a good team and lets fix this thing properly.

I think tonight will be an indicator of what kind of team we are. If we stink again tonight, we're in trouble this year and so is either Tomlin's or Haley's job

 

We will see tonight what this team is made of, if they cant get up for a national audience game, then they are in more trouble than we think, and it's tomlins team, so the finger gets pointed at him, and in the NFL it's all about production, it's not a talk show, so, if they lose tonight I don't want to hear any more of his excuses.......
