Been in the office for all of 45 minutes and already want to go home

Living a half hour south of Philly, I'm sure you can imagine why. All of the friggin' bandwagon Eagles fans are talking about making Super Bowl plans already.

 

I know how you feel. I live in current enemy territory and before I even got in to work yesterday I had people yelling out of their cars at me on the way in to the hub! I work with an Eagles fan and he texted me last night and said they're going to the Super Bowl and I'm good friends with another one that was really pumped last night.

 

Have they forgotten the much-hyped "dream team" talk from a few seasons back? How did that work out for them?

 

If they keep feeding lesean McCoy like they did last night, he will be on IR before mid season, Vick took a lot of hits last night as well, so can he stay upright for 16 games, and now defenses have tape on chips offense, things are not going to be as easy come the rest of the year, remind eagle fans we have already been through their dream team fascination.....

 

Reporting from Bungle town here . Been pretty quiet leading up to the MNF game. A lot of PO'd Steelers fans and the Bengals fans thinking another season of Marvin Lewis' blunders.

 

I can tell you Monday here at work in the middle of fair weather band wagon titans fans sucked big time. They haven't let up yet.

 

Here in Packer and Bear country I am hearing an earful. The Pack lost a close game to a good SF team and the Bears beat the Bungles. I am hopeful things change on Monday night but could be a long season if not. And Pack fans are about as bad as they get.

 

Of course they have.

 

I believe they can win their divsion with Kelly, but they would have an uphill battle outside the box.. no parade anytime soon in Philadelphia.

I suppose there is only so much room in their tiny brains...

 

I think it is more denial than anything else. EVERY year is THEIR year.
