Big Ben's MRI confirmed a high-ankle sprain. He'll wear walking book this weekend and with him, can never rule out a speedy return :herewego!: :herewego!: :herewego!: :herewego!: :herewego!: :herewego!: :herewego!:

Wow, didn't expect results so quick. Thanks for posting that! I thought for sure there was going to be a more serious injury hiding there.

As I had stated in a different thread, I bet the fact that his foot was still in his cleat and taped they just had to tape that tighter to let him go on. Once his foot came out I bet it swelled up huge! Once that happens it's hard to get back down. I'm by means no doctor, but I know that much...

rest them till the playoffs , basically we already clinched the playoffs none of these teams will win out (jets bungles oakland denver tenn)
now the question is with wich qb we will try to win in sf ? because if win there we can win also the other two games otherwise we get a wild card , with the batch of last year there is some hope but with the batch i saw yesterday not at all , dixon is a mistery , who else is out there ? :banghead:

they will not rest him and Ben wont sit even if they want him to.

the dude is a gamer and he shows more heart than just about any player in the league.

but if he did sit, it will be tough to make the playoffs at 10-6. thats what their record will be without him. anyone catch Batch trying to play qb on thursday? it was brutal.

Let's see...Ben has played with a broken foot, a broken nose, a broken thumb (on 2 occassions I believe) and you really think a high ankle sprain will keep him out?! :blackeye:

They will have to tie him down to keep him out, but I agree that he needs to rest. Will 11 days be enough? Hard to say, but I think we all agree that the Charlie Batch we saw Thursday night will not be able to get it done. Will 11 days of 1st team reps help? Here's hopin'!! :praying:
