To answer the question, I didn't want him gone. I always believed the problems we saw were based on two things. An average offensive line that was decimated by injuries and Ben. Ben has won some big games for us with his sandlot style, but he has also cost us a number of them as well. People around here seem to think as Haley as some offensive genius. Honestly, to my eyes the only thing the Steelers have done since he arrived is regress.

 

This team has done nothing since Tomlin ( yeh one SB but not his team ) and Haley. Last year no playoffs and this year looks just as bad. Maybe the thinking should change for the Steeler owners and management. Maybe it is not a good idea these days to hang on to coaches so long when they are not doing anything to improve players. And also take a look at Colbert and what has he done in the last few years. Just sayin.

I called the Haley hiring and have been a Haley supporter, but he hasn't done squat to justify my support. He needs to go if this ship doesn't get turned around.

 

Not sad Brucie is gone. The issues with this team are not TH vs BA... this teams issues stem from the head coach. Too many seasons of the same ole same with different players and coaches.
