did anyone else catch the comment Rodney Harrison said about welker last night? he said if hines ward had the toughness wes welker had he wouldn't be on TV now.

I about went through the TV to snatch the no good rotten piece of chit that he is. I was furious. i'm surprised that it hasn't come up on here yet. he just surpassed phil simms on my list of worthless idiots to announce games and have an opinion on any other player. and that really says something because I cannot stand simms. I've turned the sound completely off when he calls a game before.:butcher::noose::darkness::emperor::rant::club:

I heard that but just thought he was doing a little playful needling. He and Hines have a healthy mutual respect for each other, don't they?

Little Rodney is just butthurt because the injury that essentially ended his career was happened against the Steelers. So if Rodney had a knee strong enough to handle the Steelers maybe he would still be playing and not on TV or even running in IronMan Triathlons like Hines is.

What is that "Rodney Harrison Rule" again? Oh wait it's the Hines Ward Rule, it's to protect little punks like Rodney from predators like Hines...yea that's it.

Hines should've filmed a series of commercials for (insert your brand) soup that said this is the soup you and your mom should be eating!

I would be an old and bitter man too if a no-name nobody caught a ball off their helmet while I was all over them and cost me a perfect season to a bunch of pencil necked geeks who went 10-6 and backed in to the playoffs but I digress. LOL. Did he really MEAN what he said about Hines or was he just kidding? SURELY he knows that Hines was one of the all time tough guys in this game.

I have no doubt he was joking around. Some of you get way too worked up about the announcers. I could care less what these TV personalities say, my only concern is the play on the field.

As a side note, I had to do a double take when I saw Hines. He's lost a lot of weight.

Rod's mentality is still infested with the Patriot arrogance! another thing each time he's on i get hungry for peanuts....he has the eyes of a squirrel. Though the other day he did state Pittsburgh will recover this season but he still looks like a squirrel.

Statement ref. Hines thats Rod a Headhunter!

I can't imagine doing something like that. I have a friend that has done over 100 triathlons including a dozen Ironman versions and he said he loses 7-10 pounds just during the events.

    Insane.

My uncle is retired from the military after 32 years of service and he runs marathons quite often. He has done the Boston marathon a few times. He worked at the Pentagon and wrote Presidential reports and he said every morning he would get up and run from the Pentagon to the Lincoln Memorial and back! I was like "WHAT?" When I was in DC a couple of years ago for a few days while my stepmom lobbied I had walked quite a bit already and then walked from the capital to the Lincoln Memorial which is only a little over a mile and I felt like my legs were gonna fall off. So I went to this DC cop and asked if I could take a bus or something back to the other side of town and he said it was kinda expensive. So this guy that drives a bike with a little rickshaw thing behind it told me he would take me because the cop was about to give him a ticket. I asked him how much and he said he would do me a huge favor. I was wearing a Steelers hoodie and he said he liked that Rats so he drove me to the hotel and then when I said how much he said $40!!! I had to pay it though. Stupid Rats fans!!! I was a dumb tourist and he took total advantage of me. He probably went and told all his little Rat loving buddies what he done too! Jerk! LOL!
