The Rats are not that good but let's not forget that they weren't that good last year either.

Honestly when the game was early the Ravens front 7 did look good, real good. Their safties look weak though. That WR Marlan Brown looks real good, but Clark and Stokely look old and slow.

I wouldn't dismiss the Ravens just yet...they could get a lot better towards the end of the year.

And they did put up 27 on a good defense.

Come on they really only put up 17. That last 10 was pretty much garbage time at that point.

No he didn't. He dropped one that would have been like a 4 yard gain and put us around the 2. Not like we'd have punched it in anyway.

I only saw the first half, but I know at least 7 were handed to them by John Fox and Wes Welker.

For the season, the Ravens defense is giving up 49 points per game.

I thought on that play he would have walked in the end zone and when he dropped it he sort of clapped his hands as a way to say "my bad". Didn't Davis actually score a couple of plays later?

For sure but were not good enough to expose Baltimore in that same way. I'm so jealous f the weapons Denver has. Why can't Colbert draft a guy like Demaryius Thomas. With the exception of NE, all the good offences have a big, strong and fast WR like Thomas. Wheaton may very well be good, but we really need a true #1 WR like a Thomas or Julio.

Lets say 17 then, we don't have the weapons or the caliber of a qb they have at their disposal.

You're right Pittsburgh does not have the home field advantage and the big physical receivers to do what Denver did on Thursday. Also, if the line doesn't get better as we all hope, they will kill Ben.

The key is get to Flacco, you have a much better chance of winning he game. He just can't handle the pressure.

Flacco throwing 62 times against the Broncos tells me they don't have a ton of faith in their running game.

Which is weird because Ray Rice is a pretty good back who makes Flacco look much better than he is.

Added to that is he was running fine in the first half, with his usual gashes because he's hard to pick up.

They didn't start planting him until they were behind.

But they had to play on the road in Denver of all places. If I were a Baltimore sports fan I would be really Pissed at Orioles it's just 1 game out of what 160!!! Ratbirds took it in the shorts.

After reading this some of you are far to forgiving and making excuses for the beating they took then you would for a Steeler loss. I guess it's tough love for our team but I say screw the Ratbirds they suck and we will kill them. Afterall 49 points is a crazy amount to give up. I think our QB could easily put up crazy numbers on them close to what Payton did.

I also think (Really really hope) our WR's will have a great year!

Orioles are fighting for a playoff spot, so that 1 game is pretty damn important. Why should they role over for the Ravens?

    Right! Damn peculiar
